Strawberry Fields Spiked Shake

Putting together a menu inspired by the Beatles songs is a lot easier than it sounds. Most of the work is pretty much done for you!

With song names like “Savoy Truffle”, “Mean Mr. Mustard”, and “Wild Honey Pie”, sometimes we wonder if the Beatles weren’t just hungry when they composed their dozens upon dozens of hits.

While there is a seemingly infinite list of song and lyrics to choose from when putting together a Beatles themed party, the party just wouldn’t be the same without this Strawberry Fields cocktail. Part smoothie, part cocktail, this fluffy pink beverage can easily be made without alcohol for a tasty summer drink even kids can enjoy.

Ingredients:

2 medium bananas, sliced

2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped

3 ounces tequila

3 ounces rum

2 ounces vodka

Ice

Whipped cream (optional)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with a whole strawberry and a generous dollop of whipped cream.

Serves:

2-3 cocktails.
