Baked loaves of delicious stromboli are the perfect sandwich for a Graduation Celebration. Serving stromboli buffet-style is fuss free, and the presentation is lovely. Stromboli sandwiches are a favorite of party goers, young and old.

1. On floured board, pat and press the 2 loaves of dough together and sprinkle with flour. Roll the dough into a 10 X 16 inch rectangle.
2. Lay half of the ham slices down the center of the dough. Layer the cheese slices on top of the ham, followed by the bell pepper pieces and chopped basil. Top with the other half of the ham slices.
3. Fold the long sides of the dough to the center and seal.Seal the ends. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a sprayed 12 X 17 inch baking sheet.
4. Cut three small slits on the top of the sandwich to allow steam to escape. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let rise in a warm place until puffy--about 30 minutes.
5. Bake the stromboli at 375 degrees until golden brown and it sounds hollow when tapped, about 25 minutes.
Cool slightly before serving. Place stromboli on a lettuce lined tray garnished with some star-shaped carrots. Cut each loaf into 2 inch slices and place it on the buffet table for guests to serve themselves.
*You can make this in advance. After it has cooled, wrap the stromboli loaf in aluminum foil and refrigerate.
When you're ready to serve, warm the foil-covered loaf in the oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
