Looking for a summer dip that goes deliciously with everything? Sun dried tomatoes always add a fresh, rich flavor to any dip. Combine it with the popular middle-eastern snack, hummus, and you have a dip that is sure to be an instant favorite!
Ingredients:
1 can (16 ounces) chick peas or garbanzos, rinsed and drained
1/2 Cup Hellmann's or Best Foods Light Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic
2 green onions, chopped
Directions:
Start off by blending the chick peas, Hellman's mayo, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, lemon juice, and the garlic in a food processor or blender. Do not blend in the green onions just yet. Process all ingredients until smooth.
Once you have a smooth consistency, stir in your green onions.
Garnish, if desired, with paprika, olive oil and additional chopped green onion.
Serve with pita bread or your favorite dippers.
