Sunflower motifs can be found in all shapes and sizes printed on invitations. For something a bit more special, send a faux sunflower bloom to invites guests to the baby shower.
Purchase silk sunflowers at a craft store to embellish the fronts of the invitations.
Buy invitations that fit the style of your baby shower and are large enough to put a sunflower on the front.
Trim the stem off the sunflower so it can lie as flat as possible on the invite.
Apply hot glue to the back of the sunflower and then place the flower on the invitation.
Create a round label out of cardstock and/or scrapbook paper for the center of the flower and write a phrase such as "A Baby's Blooming." Use hot glue or glue-dots to attach the label in the center of the flower.
Write the party info inside the invitation or on an insert also with a sunflower design printed on the paper.
Make sure you have envelopes large enough to accommodate the invite and consider writing "please hand stamp" on the envelope as instructions for the post office.
