Contrary to popular belief, there are many types of salsa - it doesn’t just need to be made from tomatoes and chilies! You can add different items such as fruits, vegetables, and even spices like garlic and fennel.
To make this tailgate party salsa unique, I added a combination of berries to the tomatoes and jalapenos. The berries I used were blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries, but feel free to use any types of berries you like. No matter what, the end result will be a sweet and spicy salsa your guests will find hard to resist.

Ingredients:
2 cups (About 4) Tomatoes, Diced
1 cup Mixed Berries, Diced (I used blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
1 Jalapeno, Finely Diced
1 tablespoon Lime Juice
Pinch Salt
Chips, for Dipping
Directions:
In a medium bowl, stir together the tomatoes, berries, jalapenos, lime juice, and salt. Transfer to a serving dish and serve with chips.
