Every party needs a party favor and a potluck is no exception. As a hostess, I like to have a little token of my appreciation for each of my guests and since dinner party potlucks are always easier for me to organize, I always make sure to have a little favor for my helpful guests.
For a recent potluck party, I wrapped up some delicious chocolates in our cheerful theme colors, slipped them in a little cellophane bag and tied it all up with a ribbon.
The process to make these favors was easy and my friends appreciated the gesture so much, making it even more worthwhile!
Supplies
White cardstock
decorative scrapbook paper
clear cellophane pretzel bags (2.25 X 9.75 inches)
ribbon
chocolate nuggets
scissors
Directions

Step 1: Begin by cutting white cardstock into a 3" X 2 3/8" rectangle. Score 1/2 inch in on each of the long sides. Fold the sides up to form a tray.

Step 2: Cut 1 X 3 inch strips of decorative paper to wrap the chocolate bars. Apply adhesive to each end of the paper and wrap tightly around the candy.

Step 3: Lay 3 pieces of candy in the white tag board tray accordingly.
Step 4: Slip a cellophane bag over the tray and tie with a ribbon. Cut about 3 inches off the top of the cellophane bag. Add a tag if you'd like with you guests names on them.
Now your candy favor is ready to be given for the favor your guests have done! This candy idea is not only a great gesture of appreciation to your guests but a sweet treat for after dinner! My guests really liked the candy favor and I'm sure your guests will too!
