Kids' Birthday Party: Thank-You Notes Tips

Thank-you notes are a must, so make it easy on both you and your child when writing them by keeping a list of who gave what at the party.

  • It's hard to manage the party entirely on your own so ask an adult friend to help keep an organized list of all the presents opened.
  • To make this job simpler, create a list of the guests' names before the party, and then jot down each gift beside the giver's name as they are opened.
The note doesnt have to be long or wordy; it should just mention the gift and something positive about it.Make sure to thank the giver for coming to the party! Let guests know how much their presence was appreciated.Notes should be sent within two weeks of the party.Handwritten notes are always the most meaningful, but if your child is still too young, try having them sign the bottom of one you write out for them.Personalized thank-you notes and fill-in-the-blank style thank-you notes are a great way to make it easier for your child to express his or her appreciation.
