The Beatles' Marmalade Skies Cocktail

The psychedelic hit “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" has and always will be one of our favorite Beatles songs of all time.

The song’s imagery is so vivid and whimsical that it makes us both hungry and sleepy at the same time. We attempted to bring this mid-century dream world to life in this citrusy, sweet cocktail that conjures images of tangerine trees and marmalade skies just as the Beatles did with their lyrics.

This marmalade cocktail is a tad bit sweeter, thicker, and dreamier than your average mixed drink, and will be remembered by partygoers for years to come, again, just like the Beatles!

Ingredients:

2 ounces tangerine vodka

1 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice

3/4 ounce Campari

2 teaspoons orange marmalade

2 dashes orange bitters

Sanding sugar, for garnish

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except for sugar and shake. Rim a tumbler with sanding sugar and strain cocktail into glass.
