The Boozy Bridesmaid

It only seemed fitting that a film flooded with alcohol and its inevitable consequences be given a cocktail of its very own.

Bridesmaids’ very own belching beauty, Melissa McCarthy, is up for an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress, and even though we’re sure her character Megan would have preferred an ice cold beer and submarine sandwich to a fru-fru drink, I can’t help but think the gang would appreciate this twisted take on the classic 7 and 7.

Ingredients:

1/2 ounce Seagram’s Seven Crown whiskey

6 ounces 7-up

1/4 ounce pink lemonade

4-5 ice cubes

Lemon, garnish

Directions:

Pour all ingredients into a chilled Collins glass filled with ice, stir lightly and garnish with lemon wedge.
