The Perfect Pear Engagment Party Invitation

Whenever we can impart a play on words into a party theme, it creates a multitude of possibilities. In this case we chose the "perfect pear" design from Pear Tree Greeting's wedding invitations as our inspiration and related it back to the couple as being the perfect "pair."

We picked our color palette from the invitations themselves, but went with more of a lavendar color versus pink to incorporate our bride's chosen colors. Just as the gold pairs perfectly with pink, the darker lavender hue works with it to create a lovely complementary color scheme while black adds a modern and sophisticated touch.

To really bring out our invitation's role in the party's setting, we chose to incorporate golden hued pears as part of our accent decor as well as in food and drink.

The ideas all worked well together and create a pretty, but not-to-fussy atmosphere.
