Thumbprint Shamrocks

More Party Ideas

Though this art project is geared toward kids, teens and adults may find it's easy to get wrapped up in making shamrock people and scenes with only ink and fingers.

Supplies

  • green inkpad
  • green marker
  • various art supplies for embellishments

Directions

1. Start by making simple shamrock shapes. Press fingertips on the ink pad, and stamp onto paper in a three-leaf clover shape. The three fingerprints should overlap in the middle.

2. Add a stem with the green marker.

3. After you perfect the fingerprint shamrocks, you can create tons of other designs.

4. Make a field of lucky clovers or add facial features and hair to create a shamrock family.
