A few snips of the scissors, and a cardboard toilet paper roll transforms into a curly snake kids will love. Play with them, hang them from the ceiling or wear them, Cleopatra-style, around your wrist. We painted ours green, like the grass snakes we come across in the summer, but you can get elaborate with the snake’s skin. Look up different types of snakes for color and pattern ideas.
