True Blood Costume Ideas

Bill, Sookie, Eric, Maryann--so many of the True Blood characters' style would make great costumes! Here, a few ideas to get you started.

Sookie Stackhouse: Sookie is a true southern belle, however she spends lots of time in her Merlotte's waitress outfit. Pick up a replica t-shirt, put on a pair of khaki shorts, add a waitress' apron/pouch and side ponytail.

Bill Compton: Bill is a true southern gentleman behind those sexy fangs. Dress your guy in a military-style jacket over a plain t-shirt and khaki pants. Then, add a bit of pale face makeup, glue on a pair of sideburns and a small amount of eyeliner to rim his eyes. Don't forget a pair of faux vampire fangs!

Maryann Forrester: She may be mysteriously evil but she's one chic lady. Maryann is all about dressing like a greek goddess so this summer's maxi dress and gladiator sandal will be perfect. Dress it up with funky bohemian jewelry and a bit of heavy black eyeliner for a dramatic touch.

Eric Northman: True Blood's sexy vampire sheriff may be centuries old but he has a modern style that's easy to recreate. Have your guy wear a simple black button down shirt under a motorcyle-style leather jacket. Black pants and boots finish the chic look. Accessorize with a dog tag necklace and sexy faux fangs. Don't forget pale makeup and a bit of eyeliner under the eye and for a real statement, rim the eyes with a touch of red eyeshadow. Slicked back hair finishes the look.
