Every party needs cupcakes, but how do you turn sweet Halloween treats into a ghoulish surprise?
For this Halloween party I added fangs and beedy eyes to the top of a red velvet cupcake, making them an irresistible, yet spooky treat for my guests with a sweet tooth.
Ingredients
12 Red Velvet Cupcakes
6 large marshmallows
12 cherries
4 cups of chocolate frosting
Directions
Start with room temperature or chilled Red Velvet Cupcakes, and frost them with your favorite chocolate frosting.
Next, slice your marshmallows into fang shaped triangles and add 2 fangs to the front of each cupcake. Finish by slicing a cherry in half and placing it above the fangs to look like bat eyes.
Don't worry about any of the cherry juice bleeding onto the fangs, that only adds to the vampire effect of the décor!
Pair your Halloween vampire cupcakes with coordinating printable toppers. They're super cute and will add even more festive flair to your dessert.
