Dress up your summer burger by swapping the beef for venison and topping it with Blue Cheese for a mature burger that will add a bit of sophistication to your next BBQ. And if Venison is not an option, you can still dress up your beef burger with Blue Cheese for an equally tempting burger.
Ingredients:
Venison (or beef)
Blue Cheese
Lettuce
Tomato
Bacon
Hamburger Bun
Directions:
Prepare your venison burger the same as you would a beef burger by seasoning your meat and forming into patties.
Once prepped, grill your burgers outside on the BBQ or indoors on the stove top using a frying pan. While they cook, fry (or grill) your bacon.
Just before you remove the burgers from the heat, top with a hefty portion of blue cheese.
Remove from the heat once the cheese melts slightly and place atop a toasted hamburger bun. Add your bacon, lettuce, and tomato to the top.
For this party we used mini burgers, but you can always opt for full size burgers!
