Vintage Indoor Tailgate Tips & Decor Ideas

To set up your table/space you will need, a picnic basket, a vintage thermos, a hand me down cooler, colorful blankets (preferably the colors of your NFL team, or even your college or university team), colorful paper plates and vintage drinking glasses. I like to use old jars and tins to put food and utensils into as well.

Fill the vintage cooler with ice and fill the cooler with beer and retro looking soda pop.

Setting the Table

Use a vintage thermo and fill it with colorful flowers, which are a nice touch for the female guests at your party. The flower colors can again be in the colors of your team.

Spread out your team/college blanket as a table cloth, then set the table with food items, using the picnic basket as a riser for chili and toppings, or put plates, bowls and napkins and utensils inside and use the picnic basket as a container for service ware.

Another idea is to set vintage jars filled with utensils right on the table near that plates, bowls and napkins.

Keep the menu straightforward and easy to eat while watching the game.
