DIY Chalkboard Bottle Decoration

For our vineyard themed wedding we wanted table markers that continued our elegant, yet rustic wine-inspired look that started with our invitation.

So, we made chalkboard wine bottle "signs" for the tables. This is a quick and easy decoration project to do, and the bottles can be used over and over again.

If you have plenty of time, start saving those empty wine bottles to use for this project. Otherwise, you can obtain empty bottles from local wine makers supply shops.

Supplies

Enough bottles to set on each table
Black chalkboard spray paint from the craft store
Chalk or Chalk markers

Directions

In a well ventilated area (outdoors) spray each bottle with chalkboard paint and allow to dry.

Cover with a second coat and let dry for 24 hours.

Use chalk markers or chalk to write messages or table numbers on the bottle. You can top the bottle with a cork, a candle, or flowers if you like.
