  • You will need to write out clues for the hunt and place them throughout the house.
  • Read Michael Rosen's We're Going on a Bear Hunt for ideas about how to word the clues.
  • If the kids can read, encourage them to read each clue aloud.

To make the clues, cut brown construction paper into paw prints.Number each print. And write a clue that leads to another location in the house.Place the trail of prints throughout the house.Rally the kids by saying...We're going on a bear hunt!Instead of a pot o' gold, place a pot o' honey at the end filled with candy and treats for the scavengers.
