Chocolate covered strawberries have always been a more sophisticated treat to serve at parties, and despite appearances, they're incredibly simple to make.
To dress my chocolate covered strawberries in costume for Halloween, I dipped the strawberries in white chocolate and created ghost faces on the fronts of the strawberries. The ghosts are spooky enough for Halloween, but still classy enough for an adult party.

Ingredients:
1 cup White Chocolate, Melted
20 Strawberries, Whole
Black Piping Gel
Directions:
Carefully dab the strawberries with a dry paper towel to remove/release any excess water. Grab the strawberries by the green tops and completely dip the strawberries in the melted white chocolate, only leaving the green tops un-dipped. Place the dipped strawberry on a plate or baking sheet lined with wax paper. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
Leave the dipped strawberries on the counter to harden completely. If you want to speed up the process you can place the strawberries in the refrigerator/freezer to harden more quickly.
Once hard, use the black piping gel to pipe ghost faces on the fronts of the strawberries. To create the faces, pipe 2 small dots for the eyes and an open circle for the mouths. Place the strawberries on a serving dish to serve.
These can be made up to 24 hours in advance and placed in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
