White Elephant Gift Exchange

A White Elephant gift exchange is ideal for a White Christmas Holiday Party.

The basics of this exchange are that guests bring a wrapped gift with a predetermined dollar amount or a gently used item from home that is gift-wrapped.

Everyone draws numbers with as many numbers as there are guests participating in the exchange. To participate you must bring a gift.

The person that draws #1 is first to pick a gift and unwrap it.

The #2 person then has the option to take #1's gift or select a new gift and unwrap it.

If a person's gift is stolen he or she selects another gift but cannot steal back the gift that was just taken.

The #3 person can take the gifts already chosen or pick a new gift and the game continues in the same fashion until all gifts are gone.
