White on White Summer Table

Set a mood by using a single color on your summer table.  Want to convey a clean, simple and peaceful feeling?  White is the answer.

Set the table with a crisp white linen tablecloth and white cloth napkins.  Add some seaside decor to the  table to echo the tranquility of a summer stroll along the beach. 

A  sand dollar topiary marks the center of the table while white decorative starfish perch on the edge of each plate.

Adhere a silver sand dollar to a length of twine and tie around each napkin.

For effect, layer white dishes on top of each other.  A white heart-shaped dish will serve nicely for the salad.

Continue to add layers of white to the table by tying white ribbon to the stems of the goblets. 

Small white vases hold a tiny white flower snipped from the garden.  Write your guest's names with a thin whiteboard marker and and you'll have the perfect name cards for the table.

The white on white table is just the place to treat your guests to dinner and lingering conversations on a warm summer evening.
