Winnie the Pooh Themed Birthday Party: DIY Invitations

Use brown and yellow construction paper to create a "Hunny" pot that Pooh himself would have been proud of:

1. On a sturdy piece of cardstock, use a pencil to draw the shape of a honey pot. Also draw on honey spilling down the sides of the pot just like Pooh Bear's.

2. Use scissors to cut out the shape of the pot. Trace the pot onto brown cardstock to create the pot for the invitations.

3. Once all of the pots have been traced onto brown paper, cut off the pot part from your original cardstock piece so only the shape of the dripping honey is remaining. Use this to trace dripping honey shapes onto the yellow cardstock.

4. Cut out the brown pot-shapes for the honey pot as well as the yellow dripping honey shapes. Use a glue stick to adhere the dripping honey to the lip of the brown cardboard honey pots.

5. Use a white permanent paint marker to write "HUNNY" on the front of the pot.

6. On the back of the brown cardstock, use the white marker to write the party details. Invite friends over for a "Bear-y Good Time in the Hundred Acre Woods" to celebrate your little one's first birthday. Handwrite the date, time and place for the party as well to complete your honey pot invitations.
