If you are ever snowed in, why not make a fun decorative winter craft? Or even if you are planning on throwing a winter party, make these snowglobes as holiday party favors, a unique homemade gift, or craft them with the kids during winter break. It's an easy to make craft that can easily be personalized for any giftee or season. Learn how with our video and our easy to follow instructions.

Supplies

Mason jar (or any clear jar)
Snow globe character/ trinket
Distilled water
Liquid Glycerin
Glitter or fake snow
Heavy dute glue

Directions

Step 1: Begin by taking the character or trinket you want to include in your snow globe. In the video we use an angel, but you can include anything you would like depending on the occasion or season. Glue your trinket to the cap of your jar. Leave it until it is fully dried.

Step 2: Pour distilled water into your mason jar until it is almost full.

Step 3: Take your liquid glycerin (available at most health stores or pharmacies) and pour a few drops into the jar.

Step 4: Pour glitter/fake snow into jar.

Step 5: Do this step over the sink, as it can get a little messy. Making sure your trinket is fully dried, screw your cap back on to the jar and voila! You have a beautiful handmade snowglobe.
