Materials
Black craft wire
Wire cutter
Floral wire
Hot glue
10mm black wood beads
Directions
Cut four 4-inch pieces of black craft wire.
Lay the wire pieces next to each other. Pinch the wires together at the middle point.
Wrap floral wire around the middle point of the wires four or five times. Leave about 12 inches of wire at the end.
Add a dab of hot glue to the wrapped middle point of the wires, allowing it to go in between the floral wire. This will keep the black wires from sliding out.
Bend the black wires in half.
Thread a black wooden bead onto the 12-inch end of floral wire to make the head.
Bring the end of the wire down and pull it though the bead’s center from the bottom.
Bend and adjust the wires to shape the spider, if necessary.
Trim the end of the wire, twist the end of the floral wire into a loop, or leave it long to attach to a wreath.
Note: For an earring craft, purchase fishhook-style earring findings. Thread the end of the floral wire on top of the spider through the loop at the base of the earring hook. Twist the wire into a loop, and trim.
