We hosted a Zack and Cody Pizza Party Pick Up afternoon and brought the popular game to life with this pizza topping hunt activity.
Like a treasure hunt, the guests had to locate their pizza ingredients before they could start making their own pizza.
Full of twists and turns, this party game was a big hit with our mini-pizza chefs!
Ages: 6 and up
Number of People: Up to 10 people on each hunt.
Supplies: Popsicle sticks, markers and treasure map.
Set-up: Make sure you have plenty of popsicle sticks to allow for each player to locate at least 5 sticks.
Write a topping or pizza ingredient on each stick and then hide the popsicle sticks throughout your back yard. I used dough, sauce, cheese, extra cheese, 5 pepperonis, 5 olives, 5 ham slices, try again and free, but you can choose any ingredients that will please your mini-pizza chefs.
Once the sticks are made, hide them throughout the back yard, making sure that each location has a number of different toppings to choose from, a try again and a free choice, and that the number of sticks match the number of people on the hunt.
Draft up enough treasure maps so that each player has their own map to follow.
How to Play:
Give your players 30 minutes to find as many ingredients as they can find to create their ideal pizza using the treasure map as a guide.
They collect one popsicle stick at each location and bring their ingredients to the kitchen when the games ends.
They use the ingredients from the sticks they collected to make their pizza.
Adapt by: If younger children are playing, use stickers rather than text to show what ingredients are on each popsicle stick, and allow your players to switch out ingredients with other players if they want to.
