Nicole is the grand prize winner of a Private Screening of Sex and the City for her and 200 of her closest friends!  

Below is her prize-winning party idea for the BIGest Northern NJ Girls' Night Out! 

Two months in the making, with my first Jimmy Choo's purchased, along with SJP's "Lovely" fragrance, and lots of homework rewatching SATC episodes, this event is about female fellowship, perfectly akin to that of the movie it is centered around: Sex and The City. It is where Morris County meets Bergen County, where women of all ages are coming together to celebrate being women. These wonderful single and married women and mothers have careers in accounting, healthcare, education, law, science and homemaking. We've kept up with the glamorous London premiere photos, but stopped short of the reviews, so as not to learn the details! The web invitation included the movie countdown clock that added to the anticipation. Pre-party excitement included homework, such as hosting lunch hour viewings of Sex and The City episodes, sending and reading emails on dress sales, learning about the London movie premiere (without any spoiler information), and for me, purchasing my first pair of Jimmy Choo shoes, specifically for this event. When I purchased "Lovely" from a lovely fragrance specialist at the Garden State Plaza Mall, she indulged my request of samples for my 24 attendees for their favor bags. The manager of the restaurant graciously provided me with reservations, when on Friday's they normally do not. The manager of the movie theater kept me up to date so that I might successfully purchase advance tickets for all the girls. I am sincerely looking forward to The BIGgest Northern NJ Girls Night Out of 2008! :-)

Partygoers 15-25

Invitation Time to put on your Jimmy Choo's or Manolo Blahnik's and dress to impress! Get a sitter for our Y-chromosome-free evening. I’m excited to invite you to a fabulous evening with just the girls. Dinner at Grand Lux, and Sex and The City premiere at Garden State 16 AMC theater.

Décor Upon entering, the ladies will be greeted by Carrie's smiling face on the glamorous 27 x 40 Sex and The City movie poster. The tables will be adorned with pink helium balloons, and pink confetti, matching the pink movie marquis lettering, of course. Each attendee will receive a pink favor bag as well. Upon entering the theater, the ladies will see pink bows and ribbon strewn across seats so that we may be seated together, undoubtedly to laugh and smile together at the antics of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte.

Food The Grand Appetizer includes Spinach Artichoke Dip, Crispy Thai Shrimp, Chicken Spring Rolls, Duck Potstickers, Buffalo Chicken Rolls, Cheese Steak Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Chicken Summer Rolls, Seared Ahi, Crispy Ahi Sushi Roll and Edamame. Dinner includes the Manhattan Salad - Romaine Lettuce, Asparagus, Tomato, White Beans, Fresh Beets, Red Onion, Lentils and Assorted Vegetables, tossed in House Vinaigrette and Choice of Vegetarian, White Albacore Tuna, Fresh Turkey, Avocado and Cheese, Jumbo Shrimp and Chicken. What SATC dinner would be complete without Classic (New York) Cheesecake?

Drinks Specialty cocktails for our SATC Girls Night Out: The Cosmopolitan - Absolut Citron Vodka, Cointreau and a Splash of Cranberry Juice. If you fancy a new martini, the Cucumber martini is to die for!

Other elements Our fabulous affair includes Sex and The City Trivia during dinner. Top prize is the SATC CD Soundtrack Volume 1 (yes, I am Carried away and preordered it, with the book). And nothing says more about attention to the little details than to weave in Favors for all of the girls. Presented in a pink favor bag are all the little things a girl needs for her purse: after dinner mints, the most appropriate sample fragrance of Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely", and of course, a movie ticket to the premiere of Sex and The City.
