Southern Ambrosia Cupcakes

About My Cupcake:

It was a sultry, humid summer in the deep south the day Ambrosia Cupcake was born. Innocent vanilla bean white cake was despoiled with an exotic pineapple-orange filling. When their parents found out, a cover-up was concocted of white, fluffy meringue, shredded coconut and (of course) a maraschino cherry. Forbidden fruit never tasted so sweet.
