The cotton candy carnival cupcake is a red velvet cupcake, filled with dark chocolate ganache, topped with spiced rum-infused cream cheese frosting, and decorated with cellophane-wrapped cotton candy on a lollipop stick.

A yoga instructor by morning, attorney by day, and spin instructor by night, I bake whenever I can find the spare time. Fondly known among my friends as the "purveyor of diabetes," what started as a mere challenge to improve my baking skills, has actually turned into a tiny business -- "Intellibaker" -- a play on my last name.
