Atom Burst: Tie two balloons to each of the kids' ankles. Have them run around trying to burst the atoms. The beginning of the school year is the perfect occasion to celebrate and start a tradition. Traditions can help to ease a child's mind and in some cases ease a parent's mind as well. The first day of school can be nerve racking. Wake up a little bit earlier and celebrate this day by having a nice breakfast together.  

Don't let the summer slip away without having a picnic to celebrate the end of summer. With school right around the corner, this might be the last time to have a picnic for awhile. It will also help the children to get more excited about the new school year.
