I Do OverTurning Disaster Weddings into Dream Weddings

To call Wes and Tashia Owen’s first wedding a disaster, would be an understatement. Five years ago, the couple married in a wedding hall that was dirty and covered with Christmas decorations that were never taken down. The ceremony was awkward and to top it all off, Wes fainted during his vows and became the joke of his own wedding! When it was time for the reception no one danced and everyone left early. The couple tried to salvage their melting cake, but ended up tossing it on the side of the road on the way home. Needless to say, these two were definitely in need of an I Do Over wedding!

After Diann Valentine surprised the Owen’s with the news, it was off to get Tashia a new dress. Then she was taken to get pampered by Kim Vo, who gave her an Audrey Hepburn makeover. She looked so gorgeous, elegant and sophisticated; all things a bride should be before her wedding! The couple then picked out wedding décor. The theme was earthy with lots of pink and natural elements, but still chic and refined.

The day of the wedding, Jim McCann, Founder of Celebrations.com, enlisted the help of Rachel Hollis, Celebrations Expert, to give the couple a unique guest book. Rachel set up a cute traveling photo booth full of props, such as top hats and tiaras, for wedding guests to take pictures with. Each guest would get to keep their own picture, but one copy would also be put in a special guest book for the Owens. What a creative and fun take-away gift for the couple! Jim McCann still had one more surprise in store for Wes and Tashia. He presented them with a Do Over honeymoon, (courtesy of the The Wine Tasting Network)  in Napa Valley!

The Owens were so happy and overjoyed with their royal I Do Over wedding. The hot pink dance floor, romantic chandelier and cherry blossoms were definite high points, as well as the elaborate four tiered cake of course!
