Marie Antoinette Decadence

This party is all about indulging in all the best things in life. Its about excess. I came up with this theme for my 21st birthday party, and made it a potluck because I'm not yet Queen and I don't yet have my own castle and private chefs. But If you have the budget you can make it a big classy event. This can be a high-budget party just as well as a low one, depending on how far you push it! Every one loves an occasion to dress up and to eat as much chocolate as they can! Its a great idea for a tame bachelorette party, or a single-girls get together... It's very girly, but If you want to make it a regular themed party, the men wont mind either. They like chocolate too! You can make it a small get together OR a big event.

More information If you want to do it a costumed party then fine, but Its hard to convince people to power their face and hair and wear crinolines and tights... especially the guys! I would stick to making it formal attire yet leaving enough flexibility so that people don't feel to stressed out about it... and they might even surprise YOU and come up with some outrageous and excessive outfits to show up in!
