Adorn Candles with Ornaments or Jewelry
One of the simplest ways to accent a pillar candle is by inserting a straight pin into its side and hanging an ornament on the pin using the hook or a ribbon. Or you can dangle an earring from the pin as well. Place the candle on a large decorative plate, such as a gold charger, and surround the base with mini ornaments.

The Jace Candle
Featuring embedded mosaic tiles of glass, this "Jace" Candle  emits an artistic—and dramatic—glow as the wick burns down. Created by Jessica Lauber, the paraffin candle is poured, finished, balanced, sculpted, and polished entirely by hand. $40 at ArtfulHome.com

Kinara Candleholder
The Kinara is a long candleholder that holds seven candles, each representing the seven principles of Kwanzaa: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith.  You can buy a Kinara at any bookstore that carries traditional Aftican-American themed goods or visit dfbgcards.com. Place a single black taper candle in the center of the Kinara, then add three green and three red candles on either side.
