The Envelope, Please
Print your invitations on heavy gold Mylar cardstock, give them a double fold and seal them with a large gold sticker and write on the outside of the invite "And the Oscar Goes To..."Visit your local movie theater and ask for "short ends" of film (little pieces they cut off when they load the reel onto the projector) and write the party details on the film with a gold metallic pen.

Twinkling Glass Balls Above
Upon entering the event room of the famed Hollywood Kodak Theater, breath-taking arrangements of delicate glass balls seemed to float above. Similar to large, glass Christmas ornaments, these orbs were suspended from the ceiling in clusters reminiscent of clouds. The balls were highlighted by firefly lights, which added a sense of movement as if glass bubbles were drifting over the crowd.
