LaVerne Berry obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication in 2006. Post graduation she freelanced, creating marketing and promotional items for her local church, small businesses, and individuals. These jobs include brochures, announcements, birthday invites, business and gifts cards, logos, book covers, newsletters, promotional flyers, wedding programs, and event tickets. By 2008 LaVerne started a new line of designs for her business called, “The Covenant Collection.” This division entails the entire wedding invitation ensemble. Couples can choose to have invites and R.S.V.P.’s or they can obtain the entire package (save the dates, ceremony programs, menu and table cards, etc). Your wedding is a reflection of who you are and your style. It’s the first impression. Whether it’s formal or informal the invite will suggest the attire and setting for guests before showing up to the wedding. A lot of her pieces in “The Covenant Collection” embody a more informal style with a creative edge, yet they’re elegant. LaVerne enjoys playing with various colors and papers. In 2009 LaVerne Berry became the official founder of Berry Unique Dezigns. She recently introduced her "Covenant Collection" at the June 2009 Tricks of the Bridal Trade Workshop and Expo, hosted by A'marie Wedding Company, that took place at the Apollo Theater in New York City.
