Kelly Award winning NYC wedding photographer, Robert DiScalfani is a multi-faceted talent. Drawing upon his years of fashion and editorial experience, Robert is able to confidently navigate with discretion throughout your special day.
Having traveled the world as a fashion, fine art, portrait and travel photographer, he welcomes destination weddings and handles them with the utmost of creativity and originality. No two weddings ever look the same as he approaches every assignment with an open mind and a fresh palette. Just one look into Robert's world and you immediately begin to feel that excitement and understand his passion for the fine art of photography.
His spacious 2500 sq foot studio harbors an in-house traditional darkroom, digital post-production lab plus an onsite make-up artist. Robert DiScalfani has been an editorial and commercial photographer in New York City for over twenty years. His experience encompasses not only weddings and special events, but fashion, portraiture, still life, corporate and food photography. He is represented by Getty Images for his stock photography.
Robert approaches NYC wedding photography with a unique sensibility, creatively expressing himself in ways that allow him to capture the raw emotion and utter beauty of each and every wedding. Robert recently photographed Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Cookbook as well as the Da Silvano Cookbook by chef and restaurateur Silvano Marchetto. He has been a contributing photographer to Martha Stewart Living, Men's Journal, Sports Afield and More magazines. His current creative projects include a photography book on Brooklyn entitled Three Mornings in Brooklyn and is also working on an independent full feature film titled Perception as the director of cinematography.
