With her husband in the restaurant business, Kathy Favro got her start in professional baking by creating innovative, high quality desserts for a number of fine dining establishments throughout Northern New Jersey. Her deserts met with rave reviews and she decided to respond to public demand for her handmade confectionary delights and founded Fine Ingredients in 1995. In her search to bring the classic Italian Style Biscotti and Chocolate Chip Cookie to another level of perfection, Kathy sought out the finest and freshest ingredients, hence, the name, Fine Ingredients. Kathy also applied her creative talents to design our tasteful and sophisticated packaging to complete and extraordinary and unique gift presentation.
