About
Looking for a fun BACHELORETTE PARTY? Song Division is the answer! It's a rock n roll party where the girls write an original song about the bride with the help of a professional band.
Discerning bridesmaids have been engaging Song Division for an alternative to embarrassing strippers and the very tired girls-lunch-with-penis-straws for a bachelorette party alternative.
With very talented professional musicians, the group write and record a completely original song about the bride in just 2 hours. After five successful years in Australia, Song Division now holds the events in the US and UK. From hotel rooms to houses and even worldclass recording studios, the bachelorette party is now getting very rock n roll!
Song Division is not karaoke and it’s not changing the words to “I Will Survive”. The girls write an entire song from scratch, including the music and all the lyrics. Through a fun and easy process, the musicians interpret the collective ideas and turn it into an amazing, memorable song. No one has to be musical at all as it’s less about the singing and more about the song writing (although when there are willing singers/musicians in the groups, they are involved at all levels).
It’s a great experience for parties where not everyone knows each other, or to involve mothers and grandparents who might be attending. The song offers a great memento for the bride for the rest of her life.
Victoria D’Alisa recently organised a bachelorette day for 35 girls in Sydney. It’s a big job in itself, made significantly harder due to the fact Victoria resides in Switzerland. “The experience was so easy to organise! We had such a fantastic time and Song Division really made the bride’s day. Amber (the bride-to-be) was very touched so it was just perfect. The musicians were great fun and knew how to get the party started! All the girls were raving about it for the rest of the night.”
