Joe Shane was wonderful to work with!! We received numerous unsolicited compliments on the music at our wedding. Joe followed our requests, played a great variety of music, kept the volume at a comfortable level and everyone was up and dancing. He also did a great job of working with the caterers to keep things moving flawlessly. Many other DJ's we met with made things sound overly complicated and actually made us nervous. Joe offered suggestions, involved us but kept us calm as he orchestrated our wedding reception. Definitely a good person for your peace of mind and a great value.

Working with Joe was great. He was prompt in communicating through email. The volume at the reception was appropriate. He played a great set and transitions were smooth. He also had no problem rolling with changes we had to make to the reception order of events. He was able to read the crowd and the dance floor was busy to the end. Both he and his assistant were professional and polite. There was nothing I didn't like - would def recommend him.

Joe was everything we asked for in a DJ. He was flexible, easy to work with, responded to all our wishes (and phone calls and e-mails!), and he respected our play and do-not-play list. We chose Joe because he is low-key, didn’t self-promote, and did not use gimmicks or toys. He was just about the music and making our day about us. We hired Joe to DJ a wedding party. We asked for minimal announcements, but for him to keep the guests dancing and engaged (in spite of few formal pieces, such as first dances). We also had a wide range of music -- from indie/alt rock to oldies to hip-hop. From the initial contact through the event, and afterwards, Joe was professional, competent, and honest. He delivered what he promised (and what we asked for) at the quoted price (which was fair to begin with). I would highly recommend Joe.

Joe was one of the best DJ we have had the honor of working with. We have gone to many weddings and noticied the DJs were either too talkative or didn't keep the wedding entertaining. We were also at a wedding where the DJ got into an arguement with event planner and photographer making the experience a total disaster. Joe was very attentive to our littlest desire and made our wedding reception experience enjoyable. He kept the party going and played all the music we enjoyed. We have two different interest in music and he blended a great playlist that kept all parties interested and wanting more. We couldn't be happier with the DJ services that were provided at our wedding! Our DJ played exactly the type of music we requested and made our evening classy and memorable. He worked excellently with our wedding coordinator and made sure to check in with us as the night went on to ensure that we were happy and that everything was going as we planned. Joe was really awesome- he is quite talented for reading a party and knowing what to play and when. Very professional, not intrusive at all. He made sure that he followed instructions, and catered the service to exactly what we wanted, including going out of his way to find a few international songs that we wanted. He was excellent at mixing genres/ styles/ music for different age groups. A lot of people raved that they had never seen so much dancing at a wedding, even before dinner! I would recommend Joe without any hesitation, and while not "cheap," definitely worth it.

"All Digital" DJ service by Joe Shane was amazing. The minute we met Joe we knew he would be perfect for our wedding. He was so confident and listened to all of our requests. Joe played everything we asked to hear and nothing that we did not want to hear. He kept the flow of the evening exactly on target and felt out the crowd. People of all ages were dancing and the dance floor was packed all night. He was not obnoxious---screaming into the mic trying to steal the show. He just played the right music at the right time and made sure everyone was having a great time. I would go and meet with Joe if you are planning a wedding or another great party with people who like music and like to dance. He did a superb job!!!!

We were so grateful to have Joe as our DJ! He was professional and courteous, and had a great selection of music. He was willing to look for a few obscure songs we wanted as well. Perhaps most importantly, he was tasteful! I've been to too many weddings where the djs were loud and obtrusive, and Joe was nothing of the sort. Used DJ Fred Kroll for our wedding on August 9, 2008 at the Madison Hotel. Fred held our hand prior to the wedding by humoring our phone calls several nights to discuss our music list. We were a little nervous about not meeting our DJ before the wedding, but it was not necessary. He paid attention to our list and our style. He was unobtrusive, but made the announcements appropriately and played the right music at the right time. Everyone commented that it was great music and a fun time. As the bride, I was having so much fun dancing that I forgot to say hi to many people. I definitely suggest and recommend this company and Fred Kroll if you want a low-key DJ who does not give out toys or get too involved with the crowd, but will play good music that you and your crowd want to hear.

I cannot say enough great things about Joe. He played the songs we asked and added many other great ones into the mix. People were on the dance floor the entire night. We were so happy we chose him!

This DJ made our wedding. He was great at "feeling out" the crowd. He played all of our suggested music, but in a well placed order that fit the night perfectly. He was unobtrusive but was involved enough to keep the dance floor hopping. We paid an average price for an above average DJ!
