Angela was amazing. We loved the pictures she captured during our wedding day. Our event was pretty packed, and she navigated the crowd with ease. She took amazing pictures that everyone enjoyed and really captured all the little and big moments. We're happy that we'll have these pictures to look at again and again and enjoy for the rest of our lives. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking a wedding or event photographer. Angela was a dream photographer. She listened carefully to our hopes for the photography and then produced the most beautiful collection of wedding photographs--more amazing than we ever dreamed of! Everyone in our family noticed how attentive, discreet, energetic, and generous she was. Before we even finished saying her name at our reception, folks were standing up to give her an ovation. We had very specific desires for our wedding that did not follow many of the rules or traditions of other weddings. Angela got what we wanted immediately and took photos that respected our unique ceremony and reception while still lending this madcap adventure some gravity and elegance. We are so glad to have had Angela and her assistant photographer Julia, as the photographers for our wedding! In addition to discussing all of the details over email, they took the time to meet with us in person before the wedding to go over our exact schedule and timing of events, as well as to create a list of must-take photos. They were extremely professional, friendly, and artistic. Angela even proved essential in helping us navigate our way through Prospect Park to get to our wedding venue, the Boat House, when we managed to misplace our directions, and did not hesitate to jump out of our van to remove obstacles in our way! What a hero! Throughout the night, Angela and Julia not only captured all the special moments, but were also almost ninja-like in doing so. They were completely unobtrusive and yet were able to capture shots at impressive angles, not to mention in impressive numbers. Angela has a documentary-like style, capturing the action and emotions as they happen, and it showed in the resulting photos. In addition to an online album of all of our photos, we were very happy to also receive a full set of high quality prints in a beautiful photo box which was graced with one of our photos on the cover. Angela Jimenez was the perfect photographer for our somewhat off beat wedding at our Zen Buddhist temple. Prior to the wedding, she worked enthusiasically with us to figure out what we wanted and then she tailored a package to meet our needs. The ceremony space was a challenge in terms of logistics and lighting, but Angela and the videographer worked well with it. At the wedding, she was easygoing yet attentive and active in getting shots. We're very happy with the results and would recommend her especially for a non-traditional type wedding.

Angela was so jovial and comfortable around our family members and friends that they all thought she was a friend of ours! Also, we got our digital prints back in less than two weeks. As for the quality, we still get regular complements on them (a month after the wedding); excellent photos! I'd like to add that we are a same-sex couple and encourage those in our community to use Angela's services.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Angela. She is an amazing photographer. An artist. I think she used a photo journalist approach for my wedding (I'm not savvy with photo terms so don't quote me on this) which is exactly what I wanted. It tells the story from start to finish. She captured all the formal photographs and specific photos of our wedding details I wanted and I asked for a lot! All the guests loved how personable she is. She's so easy to get along with and so talented and a true professional. She knew exactly how to pose folks and our pictures have an amazing quality. I really just can't say enough. You have to hire her. I can't imagine that anyone else could possibly be better! We used her for our engagement photos and wedding photos and just love them!!!

Angela was AMAZING at our wedding! Our families adored her and can't stop talking about the incredible photographs as well as the incredible Angela. It is hard to overstate what a good job Angela did photographing our wedding. She met with us beforehand to go over the sequence of events in the ceremony and the reception, and figured out how we wanted everything shot. The quality of the shots we got back was remarkable -- wonderfully arranged formal photographs, fun group shots, and lots of great perfect-moment shots of our friends and family. Importantly, Angela and her crew were a joy to deal with on the day itself, when we had a lot of other things to think about. I've been to a number of weddings where the photographers bark orders, or generally get in the way. Not Angela. While managing to capture every important moment, she did it completely unobtrusively, yet somehow was always right there when we wanted to catch a group shot with some of our friends or relatives. I can't stress enough how important this was. While finding a top-quality photographer is hard enough, finding one who really "gets" how to cover a wedding is really rare. We were delighted.

Angela is an AMAZING documentary style photographer and her work translates beautifully into wedding photography. She was super helpful throughout the day, catching everything we wanted and more, without ever being intrusive or with me having to say, can you get that shot. Angela is one of the most organized individuals I've had the pleasure of working with. Before I commited to her, we met and had a conversation about what I was looking for in a photographer. Her approach is very personal. She wants to get things just right. She's also very detail-oriented, which is great for a bride. She leaves no stone unturned. A month or so before the wedding she sent me a worksheet that required shotlist. That is great because the bride and the photographer can be on the same page about expectations. She's also very flexible and open to new ideas. I had an idea that she took and made it better than what I pitched. She takes your wedding day very seriously and the pictures reflect that. She's great at candid shots that show the emotion you may miss because you're in your own world and all the formal shots perfect. She's unbelievable thorough and personable. Her sense of humor fits in with any crowd and she deals with large groups of people, who are all excited and even drunk, smoothly. She worked with an assistant, who was just as friendly and efficient as she was. If there were more stars to highlight, I would highlight them all!

My husband and I were almost speechless as we spent over two hours during our initial viewing of Angela's incredible work. We were speechless, that is, except for the almost incessant proclamations of how talented she is!!!! Her photography captured our wedding so creatively and dynamically, that each picture contains within it not only artwork, with such interesting compositions and color juxtapositions, but also a narrative about each individual that says so much about their personality....We are more than ecstatic with the result, and will happy to review the 1200+ photos again and again for years to come. Besides the photographs themselves, Angela was an amazing presence to have at the wedding.
