My wedding venue Steiner Studios in Brooklyn had Barbara's Flowers as one of the required flower vendors. They have a list of about 7, but I ultimately chose Barbara's Flowers after our initial meeting because of how wonderful Tara and L'Tse were. They were warm and friendly and REALLY took the time to understand my vision. Tara took one look at my inspiration photos and described it as "hamptons modern chic" which was exactly what I was hoping for! They knew when to push back and stop me from doing certain things that wouldn't pan out well and in no way were pushy about the budget or design. The actual bouquet and centerpieces on the day of were beyond my expectations. They were exactly what I had envisioned but better. If you want to work with genuinely warm and professional people, who really have great taste, look no further.

Tara and her staff were just lovely to work with. She listened to our ideas and came up with the perfect centerpieces and decorations for our ceremony and event. Not cheap but completely worth it!

I have worked w/ Fred (in Brooklyn) for many different occasions and he delivered once again for my wedding. All the bouquets, the church, the reception flowers were amazing and I was completely blown away by them all. They even gave me a free toss bouquet which I completely forget about!

TaraSimone and everyone at Barbara's Flowers were a joy to work with. They totally captured the island theme we had envisioned and made everything pop with the color choices. TaraSimone was beyond accomodating when it came to price adjustments that still enabled us to keep the same aesthetic. Her professionalism and thorough descriptions of the different foliage gave us a a vivid picture of what our arrangements would look like even before we saw them. My husband and I were very pleased with her work and intend to use Barbara's Flowers in the future.

Tara Simone is great! She did such a great job for our wedding the flowers and tablecloths looked beyond amazing! The pricing was also lower than other florists we spoke with.

I could not have done any better than Barbara's Flowers for my wedding. TaraSimone and her staff were CREATIVE, patient, flexible and so very calming to this stressed out bride. Her team made my day magical (I heart flowers very much) and the value that we got was really awesome. They were punctual, professional, and again, just really creative in terms of executing a shared, fragrant vision and decor. I really am not one prone to hyperbole, but I can't say how pleased I was! Recommend highly!

Unlike my other vendors, it took me FOREVER to find the right florist. I was down to only 3 weeks before my wedding when I stumbled upon a JEWEL of a flower shop in Harlem. As you enter their shop, you will no doubt fall in love with TaraSimone, the owner who has taken over for her mother, Barbara. The inside will make you think you are in the south of France...but undeniably has that New York chic that New Yorker brides deem a requirement. TaraSimone will listen patiently to all of your requests and while staying within your budget, will oblige all of your requests! TaraSimone was a miracle worker and without her I would have been without flowers!! Not only did she do a georgous job, but it was MUCH MORE than my dreams could have ever imagined! Book her immediately before the whole city finds out about her!!
