I could not be more pleased with the flowers provided by Carl and Bed of Roses for my wedding. ( Carl runs Bloom in White Plains as well.) Our initial meeting was at the WP wedding expo where I was attracted to BoR's eye-catching booth and warm conversation. My initial appointment with Carl and his staff was welcoming and I learned so much. I had initial ideas for what I wanted and Carl listed, and made suggestions based on my vision and the best flowers to execute it, all while working within my budget. I had a vision for forsythia and no ideas as to how to work it into the centerpieces, and the design he conceived was just perfect. As our appointments progressed, he was amenable and always helpful when I had additional requests and last-minute additions, as were all the people who worked at his two shops. On my wedding day, when the flowers arrived in the bridal suite they took my breath away! All my bridal party commented on the beauty of the pieces, and my bouquet was all I could have asked for and more.

Flowers beat my expectations n are still beautiful a week later!! Good job Carl!!

Bed of Roses was the first and only florist we interviewed for our wedding, and after meeting with Carl, we didn’t need to look any further! We had used Bed of Roses for other smaller events and knew Carl and his team would handle our wedding with the same creativity and expertise we had experienced in the past. Carl has been in this business for many years, and his experience shows. He walked us through every detail, thinking of options and possibilities that we hadn’t even considered, and made sure to spend extra time with us, going over our preferences. Carl was meticulous about having every detail just the way we wanted it. All of our guests complimented the flowers, and every table arrangement was happily taken home by our guests at the end of the evening! It was a beautiful ceremony and party, due largely to the professionalism and ingenuity of Bed of Roses.

Warning!!!! this florist ruined the flowers for my wedding!! he was given exact pictures of bouquets and delivered nothing like them. Flowers were not even right color! Flowers were picked up on Sat.evening and DEAD on Sunday, wedding morning. Attitude and rude behavior by owner, Carl, brought me to tears, in his shop. Carl's solution, was to leave and tell me I was overreacting. Absolutely the worst experience!!!!!!!!

Carl is wonderful to work with! He took the time to really listen to what we wanted and gave creative suggestions to make it work within our budget. He graciously made a sample centerpiece for us so we knew exactly what it was going to look like. Our guests, wedding venue and photographer were all raving about how amazing the centerpieces looked! Unique, affordable and super friendly! You won't be disappointed!

Carl and his crew at Bed of Roses are fantastic. They will take your vision and make it a reality. When I had a problem with set up at the banquet hall they stepped up and helped in any way they could. Carl is very receptive to your ideas and does an excellent job working with you. I still have family and friends telling me how beautiful the flower arrangements were for my reception! Thanks so much you guys were awesome!

My husband and I used Bed of Roses for our wedding this past year. I'd met one of their assistants at a big bridal expo and was really impressed with not only the tempting $300 off voucher, but also the fact that the rose they gave me lasted OVER two weeks. I met the owner with my mother-in-law and decided to sign with them on the spot because our first meeting went so well and he was happy to work with our modest budget as well as my creative vision. Unfortunately for them, as with most brides, our creative vision tends to change over the course of our engagement (ours was almost 1.5 years) and small changes were desired. For the most part my change requests were honored, with moderate pushback - and these were very SMALL change requests, and mostly just me wanting a professional's opinion. - I would NOT recommend this vendor to a highly creative bride (likes to look at SMP, etsy and the such) - I would NOT recommend this vendor if you have a wedding planner (does not play well with others) - I would NOT recommend this vendor if you require a high level of professionalism & respect (speaks for it's self) Final product was beautiful and lasted for weeks. My bouquet was stunning. Wraps on bouquets could have used some work but it was too late to fix.... Our guests paid us many compliments on the quality of the arrangements and colors. The Church arrangements were ok. Delivery people were polite and on time which was refreshing. All in all just glad we got the job done.

We cannot thank Carl and the Bed of Roses Florist staff enough for the wonderful experience and absolutely beautiful flowers they made for us for our April 14, 2012 wedding. We met Carl at a wedding expo and he made us completely comfortable and confident in him as our wedding florist. He is friendly, professional, honest, and helpful. I had a recent family death and was not comfortable with typical wedding flowers (aka roses, carnations, lilies, peonies, etc.). Before meeting Carl, I was nervous about using flowers in my wedding and wanted something unique. Carl was amazing and helped me pick out flowers that I loved and reassured me that everything was going to be perfect on our wedding day. He made me a beautifully unique bouquet of blue hydrangeas, yellow tulips, blue iris, hypericum berries, and delphinium. For my bridesmaids, he made six bouquets of white hydrangea, white tulips, and delphinium. Our fresh, elegant, and beautiful bouquets arrived to my house on time. The flowers in the church were gorgeous. Carl complimented the architecture and small scale of our stone church with the same white hydrangeas, irises, baby's breath, and delphinium. Before meeting Carl, I collected colored vases and hundreds of peacock feathers to use as my reception centerpieces. Carl was extremely flexible in helping me incorporate my vases and peacock feathers into the centerpieces. When I dropped extra vases and peacock feathers, for emergency replacements, off to his shop, Carl was appreciative. I had no idea that Carl was going to use my extras at the reception site. Thank you Carl! I was so happy with the reception dining room that I cried. Our beautiful centerpieces were white dendrobium orchids, white hydrangeas, peacock feathers, and blue delphinium. The three fireplaces were beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers and my extra vases with white hydrangeas and peacock feathers. Carl, thank you so much for delivering the wedding vision I have always dreamed of.

After meeting with many other competitors in Westchester, we ended up choosing Bed of Roses Florist for our wedding for many reasons. Carl was the most genuine person we met, and he listened intently to all of our wishes. He was professional, creative and very enthusiastic during the months that we worked with him. He was always happy to honor any requests that we had, and offered many great suggestions when we were faced with decision-making. The flowers at our wedding were gorgeous, and we received many compliments on everything from my bouquet to the centerpieces to the cake flowers! Bed of Roses covered it all, and did an amazing job! Our wedding was a year and a half ago and we're still getting compliments. We highly recommend them to everyone we know, and in fact, two couples that we're good friends with who are getting married in the fall are using them because they met with Carl and loved him so much also! Bed of Roses provided me with impeccable service and were very accommodating (staying past closing time to meet with us on several occasions). Carl understood exactly what we wanted for our special day. It's been almost 2 years and just the other day, someone mentioned to me how beautiful our flowers were. Bed of Roses florist helped us choose our color scheme for our wedding in addition to providing us with elegant and original flower arrangements. We chose lavender and white roses with blue delphinium, and the contrast was stunning. All of our guests complimented us on the arrangements. I wish I could post photos here!
