Kristin and Lauren were absolutely incredible to work with -- I had meetings set up with a few other planners, but cancelled them all after my meeting with Bellafare. We made the deal on the spot. They were stylish and professional, and I knew they would help make my vision (which was pretty specific) come to fruition. And they did -- our wedding was more than I ever imagined it could be.
After the thrill of being engaged settles down, I think most brides get overwhelmed with just how many decisions have to be made, no matter what size or style wedding you plan to have. Kristin and Lauren kept me right on track. They kind of made it a no-brainer, and when the time came, pointed me toward fantastic vendors who were a complete dream to work with. They made planning my wedding FUN, which it should be, instead of stressful, as it so often can be. They were responsive and helpful over the course of the entire year, and as a bride whose family lives 2,000 miles away, I felt way less alone in the entire process than I would have otherwise. They were there for every step, for every meeting, and for every question or neurotic email.
It also deserves mention that I got married 2 weeks after Hurricane Sandy. Bellafare had weddings that immediate weekend after (which they pulled off) but nevertheless, were right there to help me through the reorganizing and reconfirming in the wake of the storm. On the day of, they handled absolutely everything -- I have NO idea how I would have done it without them. I was able to hang out with my family and friends and enjoy the day, while they made the magic happen.
Kristin and Lauren have fantastic taste, wonderful industry insight and wedding expertise, and are genuinely just fantastic people to be around and work with. I would recommend them to ANY bride in NYC!
