I am an African-American woman (in terms of skin tone, think Kelly Rowland, not Beyonce) who never, ever wears makeup. I got married earlier this month and chose BridalGal after I saw pictures of a friend who had gotten married last year. It was one of the best wedding decisions I made. I had a facial peel a week and a half ago hoping it would help my skin a little. It was looking dull and a bit saggy. Lilly did a wine and apple peel and all I can say is WOW. I NEVER expected the results I have gotten. My face looks 10 years younger and is so smooth and vibrant. The entire process wasn't a bit painful, I just got a little bit red and then peeled. She had sent me home with product that goes along with the peel which also helped immensely. I cannot say enough about Lilly and her services except - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! XO

BridalGal saved my day in terms of coordinating make-up and hair for myself and small bridal party. I had procrastinated on finding a hair and make-up artist after a trial that didn't go so well with another vendor. With less than two weeks until the big day, Lilly at BridalGal was responsive to my outreach and organized a hair stylist and herself to do both a trial for me the day before the wedding and the wedding itself. Lilly and the hair stylist were very experienced and listened to what I wanted. The make-up was flawless and lasted all day. Lilly uses an airbrush which looked great and the foundation coloring was a perfect match. The day of the wedding, the set-up was very professional and everything was done on time. BridalGal turned a source of anxiousness for me into an enjoyable morning of getting ready. While not inexpensive, I found their pricing to be on par with other artists and of much better quality!

Lilly Rivera and the BridalGal team are the best glam squad a girl can have at her wedding day and well in my case days! My wedding was at the end of October consisting of three events: sangeet, Sikh wedding, and Christian wedding/reception. Each day I requested a different makeup look and each day I loved the look done by Lilly. My skin looked flawless and my makeup was stunning. I have problematic skin you would never be able to tell after Lilly did her magic on me! Not only is Lilly a talented makeup artist but also her customer service was awesome. The wedding can be stressful and she managed to keep me calm and even keep me smiling/laughing when I found out a hurricane was coming our way during the last event. She also stayed for touch ups during the last event knowing a hurricane was on its way and was just concerned about me. That really meant a lot. Lilly also had Petra from the BridalGal team do my hair for the Sikh wedding and put on my headpiece with jewelry. The headpiece (chunni/dupta) is required to stay on the entire event and is very heavy. The hair and headpiece came out great stayed on the entire time and felt very secure. The BridalGal team also did my family’s hair makeup (2 sisters and my mother), which was done by Mary Lisa (makeup) & Petra (hair). They made my family feel very comfortable. My sisters and mother absolutely loved there looks each day as well. They also stayed throughout each event for touch ups. I not only recommend BridalGal for your wedding I recommend them for any special event. Their skills and level of professionalism are absolutely the best. My family and I can’t wait to have another event and work with the BridalGal team again!

Lilly and Petra were phenomenal! They were true professionals from the make-up trial in January to the final touch-up on my wedding day in September. They have mastered the art of making a girl feel sexy and natural at the same time. Not only did they make me and my bridal party look beautiful, but they were simply amazing women to be around. Lilly Rivera of Bridal Gal came through for me at the very last minute. She came highly recommended from a close friend. I had been having trouble finding a makeup artist who could work with my skin tone. I contacted Lilly just a month or so before my wedding date. She moved around her schedule to accommodate me. She was also the most responsive vendor throughout my wedding planning. I am not at all proficient in makeup and so I was very nervous about guiding an artist. Luckily, Lilly was easily able to interpret my preferences from just a few pictures into a color palette suitable for my coloring. She was also so fun and easygoing to work with on the day of the wedding. Overall, she is a true professional and a sweet lady. I would recommended her wholeheartedly to anyone. Seriously, just stop looking and contact Lilly. You will NOT be disappointed! In fact, my sister is hoping she isn't already booked for her wedding date next year... She understood exactly what I wanted, and my hair (a down style, in fact) stayed in place even during a windy, beach side ceremony. She also lightened up the wedding day with her playful demeanor. Bridalgal was one of my favorite wedding vendors . Lilly and her team came highly recommended and it shows! I loved my hair and makeup trial and on the wedding day it turned out even better than I expected. Lilly and Petra listened to what I wanted and made it more than I could have ever imagined! My wedding was on July 20, 2012. Lily was my makeup artist and Petra was my hair stylist for the day. I cannot express how pleased I am with their services. Lilly was absolutely marvelous. She is a superb artist. She did great job on both of my looks. I wanted a natural look for the wedding ceremony -and she did great job on that. For the reception she got my "smoky eyes" flawless. Everyone complimented me on my both looks. Lilly and Petra made me feel gorgeous on my special day. I Don’t have words to thanks them. They are professional but also they make you feel at ease with their jokes. I highly recommend them for every bride. There are the BEST.

Lilly and Petra were the definition of professionalism. They were a pleasure to interact with both in the months leading up to my wedding reception and on the day of. BridalGal services are amazing! My wedding was in June 2012, and I used their services for all 4 events over three days. Lily is fantastic - she is easy to work with, listens to what you want, very responsive and works with you to make sure you are getting what you want. She keeps in constant communication with you to ensure you are doing okay! I used Lily and Petra for one event. They were fantastic, they make a great team, they are fun to work with and the results are awesome. Since they were booked the other days, I used Lily's junior artist team for the other two days. We did a trial early on with the team, and Lily made sure she was present with her team at the trial, to provide tips, and ensure I was getting the looks I wanted. Jed and Lena were also fantastic and I would highly recommend them as well. They are super nice, were always on time (or early) for all our appointments, they listened to what I wanted, yet also provided helpful suggestions and we had fun together! I was so lucky to work with all of them! Finding a makeup/hair artists for brides is always a nervewracking experience, but BridalGal makes it easy! THANK YOU!!!!

Lilly (make-up), Petra (hair), and Leena (both) were all so amazing throughout all of our wedding festivities (3 days)- they are truly a perfect team. I can't say enough nice thoughts about the whole BridalGal team. They truly made my day spectacular with their quality of service. I still look at my pictures and think "is that me??" -- because Lilly made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. The whole team was on time, and didn't cut a single corner on anyone. My bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful. Their make up was done flawlessly and all complementing their outfits and facial features. Last weekend was our daughter's wedding, we booked Bridal Gal for hair and make-up and could not have been happier!! The Bride looked stunning and elegant as did her Bridesmaids, the mother's were also thrilled. We were all so impressed with their professionalism and expertise. It would be impossible to choose one word to describe Lilly (bridalgal) and the amazing services she provided. I rarely wear make up and wanted to look natural in my pictures and she was able to find the right balance, making me look and feel beautiful.  When I met with her for my trial she was able to produce a look that was flawless and matched what I wanted without me having to fully describe the look in words. I hired Lilly Rivera from BridalGal as my makeup artist for my wedding five years ago and had the most wonderful experience that day with her and her staff. When my husband and I decided to renew our vows this past March, I knew that I wanted no one other than Lilly to do my makeup again! We have kept in touch through the years and when I told her our plans to renew she insisted on making time in her busy schedule to fly to Florida and do my makeup again. The best decision I made for my wedding vendors...

My wedding was 3 weeks ago and Lily was my makeup artist and Petra was my hair stylist for the day. I cannot express how happy I am with their services. I signed with Lily earlier this year after 3 trials with other makeups artists and I can honestly say none of them compared to her work. She immediately put me at ease and was able to target the exact look I was hoping for. She used the airbrush and it provided me with a flawless look that looked beautiful. We did a trial for both morning and evening makeup/hair looks and I could tell that day that I had finally found the right team. Since signing, Lily did a facial for me, my mom and my mother-in-law, and Petra even suggested that I come see her for a haircut so she could layer my hair so it would look better on the wedding day. She did an amazing job and I will be going to her for my future haircuts! On the actual day, they arrived on time and they worked so well with my family (my mom and mom-in-law had their hair & makeup done as well). I was so relaxed and with them and they did a perfect job. They followed us to the church and did touch ups during my photoshoot there. They also were at the reception hall where did the hair and makeup for the three of us again. Lily and Petra made me feel glamourous and beautiful on my wedding day, they had just the right look for me so that I looked natural but set apart as the bride. They are professional but also easy going where they can joke and make you feel at ease. All in all, I had an amazing day with them, I recommend them for every bride, you will not regret going with them!

I chose Bridal Gal as a recommendation from my cousin who looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day thanks to Bridal Gal. Lilly who did my makeup and Olga who did my hair were extremely nice, flexible and willing to work with me to get the look I wanted. They did a great job turning me into a traditional South Asian bride for my wedding day and a more modern Indian bride for my reception. I certainly felt like a princess and loved the way I looked. Over the past few years my mother developed a common skin condition - vitiligo that has resulted in loss of pigment. My greatest worry for my wedding day was that she'd be uncomfortable in her own skin (literally) because of this condition. A little over a year ago I found Lilly and introduced her to mom. Bridalgal was hands down my best vendor during the wedding planning process. Not only was my makeup/hair person (Michelle) incredible on the day of my wedding and related events, but leading up to the big day, Bridalgal was consistently the most professional and easiest vendor to work with. There was never any waiting for responses, manipulating with price, or anything that made me uncomfortable. In fact, there was a small glitch that could have become a big problem with my initial hair person, but Lilly Rivera worked everything out before even telling me what the issue was so that I wouldn't freak out. I've recommended Bridalgal already to some friends for their upcoming weddings and will in the future. Also, Lilly does facials and other skin care services, which I indulged in before the wedding- and because she was so good and her prices are reasonable, I'm going to continue going to her consistently for my skin care. I am a tomboy at heart, so when I went to do a makeup trial with Lilly a few months earlier, I was a little nervous. Well, Lilly made me feel very comfortable and when she was done, I couldn't believe how good I looked! I work in a male dominated line of work and when the guys saw me, their jaws hit the floor!! Fast forward to the wedding day. Lilly came to my hotel room way out in Long Island. Lilly was so prompt, she beat most of my bridal party AND I knew there was heavy traffic that day. Anyway, Lilly did most of my entire bridal party and me. They loved her. She even did the little girls, which she didn't have to do. I added an extra person at the last minute, and Lilly didn't even bat an eye!! She did my extra person and gave me a discount!! She won my mom over, that's for sure. Needless to say, Lilly will be my go to person for formal occasions to come. she was worth every penny. I am still getting comments on how I looked that day. I am forever grateful to her for that.

I wanted a natural look for the wedding ceremony - she gave me her suggestions and at first I thought the look was too heavy but my friends all loved it and seeing myself on the camera she was right (I had a traditional heavy Indian outfit - had I not gone for Lilly's suggestion my face would have faded out from my outfit). For the reception she got my "smoky eyes" perfect. Everyone complimented me on my look. THANK YOU so much Lilly for your professionalism and expertise………and most importantly for doing such a good job with concealing my dark circles around my eyes! BridalGal was great! I loved my looks, and the entire team was very professional.

I cannot begin to say how amazing Lilly is. She is a wonderful artist and a super sweet woman. My make up trail was flawless (I didnt wash my face until 3day later and it remained perfect)...this along with her kind heart gave me no other choice…I had to book with her. I had one of the best facials with her @ her studio too! On my wedding day she came to us & did my make up, two of my bridesmaids and my Moms. My mother was diagnosed with sarcoidosis; it’s an autoimmune disease, which causes raised scaring on her skin, mostly on her face. My mother has not taken pictures in recent years due to this. Thanks to Lilly and her talent she made the scaring invisible and gave my mother the confidence to stand next to me on my wedding day and take photos. For this alone Lillys work is priceless to me & my family!!!! We cannot thank her enough for not only making my special day special for me, but for giving my mother that extra boost and making it a special day for her as well. I encourage anyone looking for a make up artisit to book Lilly ASAP….remember you get what you pay for ;)

I hired Lilly in the summer of 2009 to do my bridal makeup and to cover up/airbrush a tattoo on my back. Lilly did an amazing job with my tattoo coverage. My back looked flawless and most impotantly natural. The airbrushing even helped cover some old scars in the surrounding area. My makeup turned out exactly how I wanted. It covered my flaws, highlighted my features without looking too heavy or caked on. I highly recommend BridalGal and I must say that I had quiet a few trials with other makeup artists before making a decision and none compared. Worth the price and service... I got married in the summer of 2006, and Lilly was my makeup artist. She was recommended by a good friend of mine who also had her makeup done by Lilly for her special day. My friend also mentioned Lilly specializes in ethnic skin, which was one major reason why I called to book my make-up trial. After booking her, I also had a series of facials by Lilly until the month of my wedding. I was so happy with the way my skin looked and felt that I still go to Lilly for my facials. She definitely knows what she is talking about when it comes to skin care. I won't trust my face to anyone else but her.
