Bud Maltin & his band were great! I would highly recommend them. Everyone at our wedding was raving about the band. They can play any song you give them and it sounds great. The only thing I would recommend is being very specific with them when you book them. We provided a whole song list to them, towards the end of the night they went off the list and started playing songs we didn't ask for - so i would be very specific about songs you want played and ones you don't. I would also be specific about any special things you would like done. They had us form a circle at our wedding and sang Lean on Me or That's What Friends or For - it wasn't something we asked for and had we known in advance we would have asked them not to do it. The same goes for them asking for a circle to be formed and the bride to go around and pick people to dance in it. Again, not something we asked for and also something we would have skipped on doing.

Bud Maltin is the most talented group of musicians I have ever come across. We saw Bud and his band play at our friends wedding the year prior to ours. We stood their mouths open with chills and said this is who we want to play at our wedding. Boy did we make the right choice!!! Tim was our band coordinator and we just loved him! Bud and Tim were responsive, professional, and flexible and we did get our full money’s worth. They played for 5 hours and an additional hour at our cocktail hour! I never had a single worry; they were on time and exceeded all expectations. In fact all of our guests cannot stop talking about the best band they have ever seen or heard. They played such a huge variety of music and it was flawless. There was no one at the tables they were on the dance floor all night long. They listened to exactly what we wanted and I just can't say enough. If you have this band at your wedding I promise people will not stop talking about them for months to come. I highly highly recommend them for your wedding or any other event. I can't wait to come across them in the future at another event so I can see them again!

We had so much fun with the band at our wedding!!! We provided them with a music list and style and they took in the direction of the crowd and got everyone dancing on their feet. We were so surprised to see our older relatives rocking out to the music, but I guess that's what happens when you have great live music and entertainment. We also had a special guest performance by our friends and they worked it out nicely with the band. After the wedding, everyone came up to tell us how great the music was and how much fun they had. Thanks to Bud Maltin and his great band for making our wedding unforgettable!!

This is a tricky review for me to write -- the band we had on our wedding day was phenomenal; however, that said, Bud himself left us in a really bad situation. He actually did not show up on our wedding day. All of the other band members we expected to show up did (and again, they were phenomenal). The great news? The band was out of this world amazing. I have nothing but the best things to say about the band. They were so much fun and everyone loved them. Their selection was great and they learned all of the songs we asked them to play. I would 100% recommend this band given how great they were, but just know that even if you write members into your contract (which we did), Bud still may not show up. You should think about how you craft your contract to mitigate against any potential risks up-front. That said, just know his replacement is wonderful and the band still is excellent. Bud also apologized and provided a partial refund given the situation. High stress situation? Absolutely. Good resolution? Absolutely. Just watch your contracts.

> No way on earth did I not "show up".I was forced to send another musician to take my place at this wedding for an extremely serious personal emergency. This has happened to me less than 4 times in 27 years, I did all I could to avoid this happening on this date. As long as we are all mortal, emergencies occur, but I handled this completely professionally and honestly, resulting in this 5 star review. This bride and groom met my sub (Tim Cappello, who played with Tina Turner and Ringo Star) in person a week before the wedding, and had seen him live as well. Each and every other musician and vocalist they expected arrived and performed. I did all I could to be there, and regret that it was just not possible. This bride and groom knew this in advance, I sent a very generous refund with my apology. No charge for musicians at ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, we learned several special songs , as we often do. Look up all our reviews here and on The Knot to get reactions from other clients, we are proud of them all.

We searched FOREVER for a band and are so happy we didn't settle until we found exactly what we wanted -- Bud Maltin Metropolitan Music. They were so, so good and made for an unbelievable party -- the dance floor was always packed, and we had many people tell us that though they typically aren't big dancers, they just couldn't leave the floor because the music was so great! (Our reception venue even added them to their "preferred vendors lists" the day after our wedding -- I think everyone was wowed by how good they were!) The band was great to work with -- they learned our first dance song for us (my husband actually likes their version better than the original) and we were able to talk to them in-depth about music for every step of the day, unlike some other big music companies (Hank Lane for example) where you never get to talk to the band directly at all. We think that made a big difference and would recommend them to everyone!

Incredible! The dance floor was packed the whole party, and my husband (who NEVER dances), was dancing all night long. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I simply can't say enough about Billl Galbo and Sabrina -- the music at our wedding was absolutely perfect and really captured our style. We had so much fun and our guests are still raving about our wedding. Bill was so great to work with! He came up with creative options to make our day amazing!!! Bill worked with us to pick the ideal music for our ceremony, introduction, first dances and the rest of the night. Bill is such a professional and you never have to worry for one second that there will be anything "cheesy" going on (we've all been to the nightmare weddings with the awful entertainment!) He is such a talented musician and we loved the live music blended in with DJ work. He was so flexible too -- my stepchildren wanted to perform two songs and Bill expertly put that together for us! We used the DJ services of Bill Galbo of Metropolitan Music, but I have seen the full band perform too. Amazing music no matter whiat you decide... you can't go wrong!!!! Thanks again Bill and Sabrina for an amazing night!!!!
