The cake we commissioned Nicolle to create for our day was simple yet elegant but turned out to be the centerpiece of our reception. Her enthusiasm in bringing our vision to life and her attention to detail resulted in an absolutely breathtaking display--one that also happened to taste divine. We, and our guests, couldn't have been happier with Nicolle's creation. Amazing. Thank you so much! Hope to see you for the baby shower! :)

Cakes by Nicolle provided an amazing cake for our wedding. Nicolle worked closely with us to determine the look of the cake by looking at our invitations, colors, and my wedding gown. Not only did the cake look stunning, it tasted amazing! The flavors were incredible and everyone really enjoyed it!

Nicolle provides an array of flavors including superior basics like vanilla with raspberry or a true rich chocolate as well as some more unusual flavors that are equally well balanced in flavor! We chose her Banana Cake which reminded me of my mother's banana bread, only more dense, velvety and just as moist, and with the cinnamon icing she makes, it was such a hit! Also, in terms of design, you are not getting any out-of-box generic cake. She achieved the exact texture (somewhere between an impressionist painting and a spackled wall) so that it looked perfectly artistic! We didn't do any sugar flowers, but from what I saw on her other cakes, they are very detailed pieces of art. She was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend her to future brides :)

Nicolle did an amazing job as our wedding cake designer. First and foremost, our cake - alternating tiers of Devil’s Food cake with vanilla cream filling and Golden Butter cake with chocolate cream filling – was delicious as well as decadent. I especially enjoyed the devil’s food cake with vanilla cream frosting…oh my! It was so moist and delectable. Many of my guests went out of their way to comment on how tasty the cake was days after the wedding. From the start, my instincts about Nicole after viewing her website were correct: she was in sync with me every step of the way. The tasting was so much fun! We sat down and went over my choices and then talked about different options and designs. There were so many flavors and filling options to choose from and Nicole made the whole process seamless. I felt very comfortable describing “my vision.” Soon after our meeting (and after my fiancé gobbled up the sample cakes), she emailed me sketches of ideas I had described to her…and they captured everything I was thinking about! All of our communication went smoothly and she set up everything w/my wedding reception venue. Upon seeing her final product, I was thrilled! Nicolle also prepared a Groom’s cake in the shape of a Mets baseball cap. It was a coconut cake with Dulce de leche cream. I can still taste the exquisite flavor of that cake! I asked for the Mets cake to include my man’s favorite team at the reception, and I didn’t anticipate it tasting so amazing! Thoughts of that cake now make my mouth water even though it is months later! Last but not least, Nicolle prepared pink champagne mini-cupcakes with vanilla frosting…scrumptious! Or so I heard! Despite everyone telling me how they couldn’t get enough cake, the mini-cupcakes disappeared within minutes! In sum, Nicolle was professional, personable and accommodating AND her genuine interest in giving me what I wanted was apparent in the final product! I hope many other brides have this same experience w/Nicolle!

The grooms cake we had made by CBN was fantastic. It was a NY Jets helmet replica. Our guests were wowed by the design and by the incredible taste!

WONDERFUL. The cake was moist, it was beautiful to look at. Nicolle did a wonderful job. Nicolle is a very sweet person and it was a pleasure working with her.
