Tulis was an absolute blessing. We were concerned about finding someone who could truly understand what the ceremony meant to us - as a German marrying a first generation American of Haitian/Cuban heritage, as an atheist marrying a Catholic, as two divorced people remarrying and finding the unimaginable in one another. Our love developed quickly after meeting and we wanted someone who could honor our passion. Tulis far exceeded all of our expectations. She got to really know us and asked us questions which made is think farther and deeper into our relationship. Our guests were astonished by the intimate areas of our nature that she touched upon during the ceremony. The readings she provided were heart captivating. Many of the guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Tulis is one of kind - this is her gift and calling. We will be forever grateful to Tulis for making this day one of the most amazing of our lives. If you don't want a cookie cutter wedding, but one where the officiant honors you, you can do no better than Tulis. Thanks you Tulis!! René and Fu

Tulis was warm and very outgoing officiant! She took time to listen and write our story. Our wedding was about us and our friends and family members to take a part of our journey. She made it very original and fantastic!!!

> Thanks, neighbor. Your wedding was such a jewel. Escaping the rain in Central Park, and surrounded by your intimate group of family and friends.

We were having a non-religious and interfaith wedding at our NYC venue and wanted someone to deliver a personal and unique ceremony. We found Tulis and liked her from our first phone conversation. Our ceremony had humor and uniqueness which is what we had hoped for and was absolutely beautiful. All night, guests were approaching us with compliments as to how special and DIFFERENT and beautiful our ceremony was. Many are still asking us where we found her. We will refer to anyone who is looking for a fabulous and genuine celebrant! Tulis speaks from her heart and truly loves what she does and it comes through in her delivery.

Tulis McCall was a perfect officiant. My now-husband and I had been searching for someone who would listen to what we wanted, would incorporate our requests, and create the right vibe for our wedding day. We met with Tulis several weeks before the wedding, and I got an easy, relaxed, sense from her. She has a great deal of experience being an officiant in New York, and definitely knows what she's doing when it comes to weddings, which has a calming effect for a nervous bride/groom-to-be. Tulis worked with us to build the ideal vows and ceremony. We had intended on surprising our guests with the ceremony, and she loved the idea - working with us to build the words that would guide our guests through the initial surprise of the ceremony. We incorporated humor, our history, and our aspirations for our future. It was funny, lighthearted, and momentous. All of our guests walked away saying how fantastic the ceremony was - which was highly rewarding for us on our special day. We couldn't be more grateful for how special Tulis made our day.

> The room was filled wit so many folks who love you. And we managed to surprise most of them. What an evening that was! Thanks for taking the time to write.

Tulis was great. As soon as we met her we knew she was the one for the "job". We didn't want the standard vows and she put together a lovely celebration of Kat and I using personal details that made it easy for friends and family (even those we may not have seen in a while) to feel like they were sharing in our personal Greatest Day Ever. She was also pleasantly flexible in fitting in some last minute additions, which is always a plus for anything wedding related. I can easily recommend Tulis for anyone who wants to enjoy their wedding ceremony.

> Hello you two lovelies I still remember that gathering under the indoor trees with the sparrows serenading us. A beautiful afternoon. Thanks for the kindness of your review.

Tulis did an amazing job. We had a number of guests comment on how warm and personable Tulis was. She worked will with us to understand who we are as a couple and to convey that in the beautiful ceremony that we co-created.

Planning a wedding is difficult enough, but my fiancé (now husband) and I were remotely planning a wedding to be held in NYC on a yacht no less. Most of the vendors were easy to source, but finding someone who could provide a meaningful non religious ceremony proved very difficult, until we stumbled upon Tulis McCall’s website. She worked with us and crafted one of the most wonderful ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Perhaps you will consider me biased, (I am talking about my wedding after all), however three months later our guests aren’t remarking about how good the cake was, how beautiful my dress was, or how much fun they had on the dance floor… they are all taking about what a wonderful ceremony Tulis created for us. Through interviewing us and having us complete a questionnaire about our courtship, Tulis took our story and wove it into a creative and unique ceremony. This service fully expressed how and why my husband and I were choosing to get married. She is a beautiful storyteller who had all of our guests (who ranged in ages from 4-80 and came from four continents) engaged in the ceremony. Tulis gave us exactly what we were hoping for, a significant wedding ceremony.

Tulis was a lot of fun, we came out from Australia to get married in Central Park, Tulis put us in contact with an excellent photographer also. Tulis's personality lightened things up and relaxed us both, when we needed it. We had a great day in trying weather conditions, it rained heavily just prior to the ceremony and was very humid for the rest of the day. Tulis found us a really good location with some shade near a lake which added to the ambiance, and her words were very relevant and special to us. If you want a person who will customise to suit your occasion and personality, and bring her own unique personality then Tulis is the right person for you!

"Planning our wedding from the other side of the Atlantic was a daunting task, but as soon as we had Tulis on board, a massive weight was lifted. It was very important for us to have people on the ground who we trusted, and from our first Skype chat with Tulis, we knew that we had not only a proficient celebrant, but a friend for life with our best interests at heart, someone who really cared. She took time to speak with us to ensure that the ceremony was perfect, and completely geared towards us with a real personal touch. Tulis went 'the extra mile' at every stage, including bringing us some celebratory cupcakes on the day of the ceremony. We cannot recommend her highly enough."

Tulis is a true professional and exactly the type of calm and knowledgeable officiant we needed to run our ceremony...which was, without a doubt, the most important part of our day. Our wedding was planned in just over 5 weeks and, thanks to Tulis, we were able to get the ceremony squared away quickly. Our ceremony took place at the Ladies' Pavilion in Central Park and we relied heavily on Tulis' experience with regard to securing the venue and procuring the necessary permits (photographers/videographers, string quartet, etc...). When it comes to the actual text she delivered, Tulis was very accommodating and allowed us to edit nearly every aspect of the content (multiple times!) to fit our needs. Here is a quick 2-min video to give you an idea of what the ceremony was like: http://vimeo.com/48112515 Good luck with your choices....

Tulis was excellent. She made our wedding ceremony a breeze. She listened to us, and let us decide what we wanted to do - while offering helpful suggestions along the way. You won't be disappointed by Tulis.

Tulis was nothing short of incredible. She has made understanding her clients a science, and truly got to know us from the inside out before our ceremony. She's smart, engaging, funny, and somehow figured out how to express our sentiments better than we could ever have done ourselves. She reached out and touched everyone of our guests who were all blown away. And if getting married to the one we truly love weren't enough, Tulis' presence put everyone on an adrenaline high that lasted for days. We felt as though our wedding was really one of a kind, in large part thanks to this wonderful woman! David & Hilario

Being an Event Manager, I have witnessed dozens of my clients ceremonies. This first time I had the pleasure of seeing Tulis in action, I ran home to my partner and stated, if we were ever to marry, that I have found our officiant! Four years later, she created a loving, passionate and humorous wedding ceremony that had our friends and family crying, laughing and cheering us into our married life!! Tulis was wonderful, she saved the day! We originally planned to get married at City Hall in New York City on 11/11/11. We did not realize that it was Veterans Day, we found out they were going to be closed with less than one month until our wedding day. We search online and found Tulis. She agreed to marry us on short notice and she was so helpful with location ideas. We got married in Central Park on a bridge overlooking a pond. It was more than we could have ever expected, it was beautiful day, all the leaves were exploding with fall colors of red, orange and yellow. The ceremony was very special and her words were filled with sincerity and meaning. I would recommend her strongly and we will never forget the wonderful memories she help to create.

Upon meeting Tulis, before choosing her to do our ceremony, she was very genuine and it felt as though she was truly interested in finding out about us and our story before she committed to marrying us. She asked some very thought provoking questions which made us think about our relationship and help put some of the issues we had with a 'stranger' marrying us as ease. She was very professional, attentive, and available as we worked thru writing our ceremony (and she offered great resources to do so). One of the only mis-steps she made was pronouncing one of our last names wrong while conducting the ceremony (an overight that she probably should have double-checked with us). On our wedding day Tulis met with us on time (there was a small additional fee for her to travel to brooklyn) at our outdoor ceremony site where her smile and wit made us comfortable and stress-free. We would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in and around NYC.

We are a couple from Europe. I live in London and my wife to be in Paris. We wanted to get married in NYK where we planned to stay for 1 week. Tulis made it happen very simplly and professionally, in Central Park. A very authentic wedding with just the two of us, Tulis Mc Call and a friend as a witness. Merci !

Tulis made our vision of a personal and fun ceremony a reality. She really got to know both of us as individuals and as a couple through in-person conversations as well as a thorough questionnaire. We were included every step of the way. It was always easy to contact Tulis and she would respond almost immediately. We were able to review the ceremony Tulis had written ahead of time and our feedback was always welcome. Everyone raved about the ceremony, which honored our relationship, past, present, and future. It was touching, funny, and IN NO WAY BORING! It was the perfect way for my husband and I to embark on the journey of our married life! I 100% recommend Tulis!

Tulis McCall was wonderful. She made our day even more special than we imagined. Ms. McCall has a true gift with words. We held our ceremony in Central Park under a beautiful tree in a grassy field. She helped us identify a place to have our ceremony and it could not have been nicer. Everyone who attended our ceremony was moved by her words and her genuine manner. Although we spoke but a few times, she really captured the essence of my husband and I. Tulis McCall gave us more than her words, she gave us a lifetime of happy memories. Tulis was everything we could have asked for, she listened, offered suggestions and took the time to do the pre-work in order to make our ceremony memorable. Her questionnaire was thorough and really helped us express our feelings. She then used the questionnaire to craft a ceremony which was exactly what we asked for. The day of the ceremony she performed flawlessly, overall working with Tulis was an amazing experience and we would recommend her highly to anyone.

Tulis was wonderful. Not only we, but our friends and family as well, loved the ceremony she wrote, the way she commanded her part of the event (with firmness and a nice touch of humor), and her warm, thoughtful attitude towards every detail. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals, and as a result the ceremony was very personalized - touching and smart at the same time. We would unequivocally recommend Tulis for any marriage or commitment ceremony!
