My husband and I visited with Chacala a year before our wedding we looked at a lot of loft type spaces, this seemed the best considering our style. We met with the event planner and every time she was unorganized, she never had our file ready and things that were promised were not delivered. On our day that should have been special we were greatly disappointed! We paid for linens and got paper napkins, we were supposed to have flower arrangements done by them for where our ceremony was held they used arrangements that we purchased for our tables, the food was horrible the chicken was dry, the penne was starchy, the rice unflavorful and they ran out of food so some of our guests were left with nothing the staff was rude, the front elevator was broken leaving us to use the freight elevator, which they said they would nicley decorate & did not. There was no organization for the food line our guests had no direction for which way they should have gone, my mother slipped on pee on the bathroom floor, the main window behind our ceremony where the sun filtered in was filthy and now shows in my pictures, there was not enough air conditioning and our groomsmen spent the ceremony dripping in sweat. The event planner wore a dress so short and inappropriate guests complained about seeing more than they should have. Guests talk about our wedding and not in the way i want them to. I walked into that place and was heart broken, i spent most of my wedding crying of embarressment, and after trying to talk to the event planner and meeting with her she has completely blown us off! Do not waste your time and money here it really has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, It is sad to say but I hated my wedding thanks to this venue.
