I cannot say enough about City Cakes~ they are absolutely wonderful! The Chefs and staff are super professional and are so easy to deal with. And they don't mind if you have tons of questions because they respond to your every query!!! But what's is also proably more important us...the cakes are beyond delicious!!!! I mean just heavenly! And on top f that they look amazing! Our guests could not stop raving about it (we had the Lush Amarreto with Buttercream). Even the ones that don't like cake, loved it (yes, there are people like that)! Absolutely recommend!!!

City Cakes did our cake and our favors (we did their famous 1/2 cookies). Both were extremely delicious. My only complaint was that the color of our cake was not correct (though I suspect it was due to the way the spray color was absorbed into the fondant), it was supposed to be purple but looked green/blue. Despite the color, it was still beautiful and delicious, many people asked for a second slice.

Benny at City Cakes NY was wonderful and we were so happy with our wedding cake! First off, it was the best tasting experience we had among many to begin with. They weren't at all pushy but instead very friendly and helpful and super professional. I was confident from the day I showed him what I wanted to the day we signed the contract for our 150 person cake. When the day came it was flawless and the most delicious cake! I did not touch my food all night but I sure did eat my piece of cake. It was wonderful and so beautiful, I got many many compliments on it. I highly recommend City Cakes NY if you are looking for professional service, super friendly people and a stunning elegant and flawless wedding cake. I admit I was a picky bride and did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I hired anyone and I was not let down. Benny even accomodated some last minute changes I requested with no hesitation at all. The cake and my entire experience with City Cakes NY was perfect!

I found this vendor via the Time Out New York "best of" issue. The folks at City Cakes did a great job leading up to our event. We were able to work with the Chef to design the cake we wanted and had a delicious tasting. They were responsive and they worked with our florist to add flowers to the top. The experience was perfect. The cake itself had no taste and could not have been more dry as evidenced by the fact that no one ate it. It was embarrassing. We didn't even save any for our first year anniversary. Price was $16 per person.

Wow...Benny and crew did an amazing job on our wedding cake. They are perfectionists and it shows. The sugar leaves looked just like they were falling on it...and the flavor! The amaretto and buttercream are to die for. Cakes from City Cakes are not the typical plain wedding cake...they have real flavor! You will be going back for cupcakes in the days before and days after just to have more. They are so creative with their design too. When Benny sent a sketch of what he would do, it was perfect. Seeing it in person on the day of the wedding was so cool...the cake was breath-taking.

My wife and I got married in July in Central Park. City Cake made our absolutely scrumptious red velvet cupcakes. I've never seen a dessert disappear quicker! The cupcakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious!

On very short notice, City Cakes and Chef Benny and his team, made a beautiful and delicious cake for our celebration. Chef Benny took his time with us as we explored our options and was extremely helpful in getting us the cake we desired, a pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese filling, with beautifully decorated fondant icing. Perfect, and not a crumb left over.

After an extensive web search for a cake bakery for our wedding, my husband and I came across the City Cakes website - and I am SO HAPPY we did! On our first visit to the bakery, we came in with a rough idea of what we were looking for, and Chef Benny and Chef Marc worked with us to fine-tune the idea, providing suggestions but also taking our ideas and thoughts into account to come up with a final concept. We were so impressed with their creativity and professionalism (as well as the delicious cake we tasted!) we asked them to create our wedding cake. When our guests entered the ballroom for our reception, there was a huge crowd (about sixty people) that all swarmed around the cake to take pictures of it like it was a celebrity. Guys - I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this cake was. And not only did the cake look incredible, but it was (and I'm not exaggerating) the most delicious cake I've ever tasted in my life, and our guests shared that sentiment with us (we had an Almond Wonder cake with Hazelnutella buttercream). The quality of what we received cannot be topped. On top of the amazing final product we received, through the entire planning process, City Cakes was responsive, friendly, organized and professional. Trust me, you're in good hands if you work with them. I seriously cannot wait for the next big event in our lives so I can call City Cakes again! I can't say enough about how incredibly talented, amazing, and mind-blowingly awesome City Cakes is. I would absolutely recommend City Cakes to any client/ friend of mine! My husband and I had found a picture of a Wedding Cake that we absolutely loved and when we presented that picture to City Cakes they honestly brought that exact cake to our Wedding!
