Cody was the most fantastic photographer ever! I had been on the hunt for a talented photographer for my girlfriend 2 years before my wedding which is when we came across Cody. He was brilliant and her pictures were perfect. Another friend of mine used him as well with the same fantastic results. So when our wedding came around it was an easy choice and true to form Cody did not disappoint. Our pictures are more amazing than I could have ever dreamed. He is more than a photographer, he is an artist and storyteller. The pictures capture all the beautiful moments throughout the day. The other great thing is you hardly notice he is there. He is unobtrusive, calm, easy to work with, flexible, and of course fun! I can't say enough about our great experience with Cody!

There is truly not enough room on this feedback form for us to fully explain just how much we loved working with Cody and how ecstatic we are about the photos he took of our wedding day. Cody shot our June wedding in New York City at the Bowery Hotel. From our first meeting with him over a year ago through to today, he's been a pleasure to work with on all levels. He's professional, very easy to get along with, timely with all questions and correspondence, very reasonably priced (we joked with him that he could definitely raise his prices, he's that good!), and most of all, extremely, extremely talented. Cody is SO good at what he does and that talent is evident in his work. He managed to nail every shot, from bright sunlight outdoors to the dark inside of our venue-- and he makes the lighting look great every time. Friends and family have been raving about his photos, as have we. We realize there are hundreds of New York City wedding photographers to choose from-- but we promise you, Cody is the best! Of all of the vendors that we worked with, he was by far our best decision.

Hiring Cody was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. Our number one requirement was finding someone who is unobtrusive. I don’t love having my picture taken so a whole day of paparazzi did not exactly sound like “the day of my dreams”. Cody made me look and feel beautiful. There are many reasons I would like to carry Cody around in my pocket, and feel blessed that he captured our wedding in Sayulita, MX.  His professionalism endured from start to finish.  Skyping with Cody ahead of time, he was extremely organized.  I felt confident that he knew what we wanted and was on top of his game.  He went out of his way to make sure his job was not a stress of ours.  His reliability ensured everything we wanted got done.  In a foreign country, he scouted the town and found the best spots to shoot at.  Need a ladder for a group shot before dinner?  Check.  Need a group shot edited and emailed one week after the wedding? Cody is a star photographer on the rise. His work is excellent; he has a strong command of depth of field, light, and composition. For its drama and romance, his portfolio was clearly among the best that we viewed while searching for a photographer. His photographs of our wedding lived up to the quality of his portfolio. Working with a relatively short session, he crafted a fairy tale narrative of excellent photographs. In advance of and during the photo session we had some fairly specific requests, which he happily accommodated. Additionally, Cody is very affordable. He is worth a lot more than he charges. Finally, Cody is a true professional. He was a pleasure to work with and easily our best vendor. My wife and I highly recommend him.

It wasn't a hard decision choosing Cody as our photographer for our December wedding at the Brooklyn Winery. His Portfolio of work demonstrated he was very skilled and we were impressed by the diversity of events he has shot. Both my husband and I are graphic designers which made us a little demanding as clients. We specifically wanted completely candid and natural photographs, with no posing, and we knew this would be a real challenge. Many other photographers we had spoken to had claimed they could shoot candidly. On reviewing their work however, it was evident they didn't really understand what it meant; either that or they weren't capable of capturing the moment that mattered. I came across Cody Raisig in NY Magazine and from the moment I went to his website it was a seemless match. He was very professional, easy to work with and creative. I met Cody in NY and asked him if he would travel 5 hours to my wedding in Block Island, RI on August 20, 2011. He was fantastic from the moment we met. Every single person who came to the wedding praised Cody's work. My friends who are already married say their own pictures pale in comparison. It's true. He exceeded my expectations 10-fold. Leading up to the wedding, Cody was great - he is the perfect mix of cool/calm/Colorado-esque and professional at the same time. He asks a bunch of questions to determine what is important (stuff I wouldn't have thought about) - and everything turned out exactly how I wanted. On the wedding day Cody was awesome - I didn't even notice him, he was not in the way at any point, but when I saw the pictures, he had somehow captured every moment! He also came to the after party bonfire to get a few shots - above and beyond and unexpected. I honestly can't say enough to do his work justice.

We put the photos in an album the other day and now that they all together we are delighted by them. We were referred to Cody by our videographer when we asked her the best photographer she knew. In the lead up to the wedding, Cody was very responsive, letting us know immediately he's at another wedding but will get back to us that night. He is also not pushy, we went over the options freely and Cody was able to work with us on tailoring what was important to us with our budget. For example, I really wanted a photobooth with a certain look, so he bought the color backdrop that really was the look we were after. Cody went to check out the venue beforehand (the Metropolitan in LIC) and was easy going and flexible. He shows up on the day looking very professional in a bow tie! We chose to add a second photographer for the ceremony and the cocktail hour as we couldnt believe Cody when he said he didnt really need one. I can't tell which is which but I now understand what he meant. Cody got some really amazing shots that REALLY captured the day for us. He got me laughing with the Reverend, a sleeping flowergirl, he happened to be in the right place at the right time not once but twice when 3 and 5 year old flowergirls got hold of the microphone. There are so many amazing photos of everyone having just a great time, Cody has a great ability to be right there at the right time and know when someone is about to do something. His candid ability is top-knotch! Amazing facial expression shots that are PRICELESS and help you re-live the day over and over again. One thing I would suggest is that you have someone help in your party to organize your family during the portraits. It was like herding cats and we only realized now of what formal shots we didnt have. Spend lots of time thinking of the ones you will want will pay you dividends, (we thought of the ones we wanted but actually missed some) having someone ensuring the people are there and dont walk off is key. I wished we had left more time to get better formal shots. Overall I am delighted with the really adorable, funny, personal and intimate photos we have. Cody went above and beyond to ensure we got a slideshow in a matter of days and a disk of prints and online gallery in a matter of weeks. Well done Cody!

Cody is awesome. Our wedding was last May (2011) in New York City. Totally easy to work with, very reasonable prices, and the final product is absolutely perfect. He (and his second shooter) worked with our wedding party, traipsing around the streets of Tribeca and beyond, and got some really classic and fun shots. Seriously, every single person that has seen our photos has commented on how much they like them, how well they came out, and how sad they were that they hired someone for twice the price with pics that were only half as nice (that rhymes!). Turnaround time was very fast and just as promised. My wife and I were and still are really really very happy with everything. Cody is a total pro and you should book him now before he becomes super famous and only shoots frowny faced models for European fashion magazine editorials.

Cody came to Costa Rica to photograph our wedding. We had only a few friends present so our top priority was to be sure that our photos were of the best quality so we could share our memories with all our family who couldn\'t be there. In the end, we were bowled over by what we got. Cody did an exceptional job capturing so much beauty, fun and emotion from not only the wedding, but other unexpected moments throughout the day. Ladies, if you would like a talented, affordable, nice, and reliable photographer, look no further! I didn\'t know Cody prior to hiring him as a photographer, but after working with him and seeing the quality of his work and the timely manner he posted the photos, I respect and admire him like a close friend.\r\nCody photographed a wedding of 114 people by himself. He caught all the right moments. Also, my husband and I were \"adventurous\" clients-We wanted to climb up on some lamp post or do something crazy to get a cool shot. Cody was game for just about anything and followed us on to every lamp post, tall hill and even laid on the ground in his nice suit to get just the right angle.\r\nI can\'t say enough about him-He\'s wonderful. We got our photos 3 weeks after the wedding (just a CD) it was a record time comparing to all my friends who got married. I also had my own ideas of which shots I wanted and may have even bit a bit \"bossy.\" He didn\'t seem to mind at all and took whatever shots I asked for. He also has a lot of his own great ideas and which shots can look good. He has a very artistic taste-Not your standard \"look here, look there\" photographers. Final product was magazine worthy!

Cody listened carefully to our requests and followed through 110%. He always made us feel comfortable, got every shot we wanted, and delivered the product promptly. He was always available to answer questions via e-mail, and because of all of this, I felt our deal with him was an absolute steal. I\'ve already recommended him to at least five friends for their own weddings.

Couldn\'t have had a better photographer. Our wedding was 9-25-10, at Seawanhaka Yacht Club in Oyster Bay, NY. The day started off with him showing up hours early to scope out the venue despite our venue being somewhat difficult to get to from NYC. He really captured the essence and joy of the whole event, and the pictures truly tell a story rather than just being portraits. We have photos of all the important moments; Cody seemed to always be in the right place at exactly the right time. I found Cody through good ol' fashioned online research, which made me nervous--but (at least this time) did not steer me wrong. When I met with him, I liked his laid-back style, and the no-nonsense, polished look of his albums--which made it clear it was all about beautiful quality pictures. I followed my gut, and booked him, and could not have been happier. The day of our wedding, he was there early, and left hours later than he was supposed to! He rolled with the punches and was completely flexible, but also successfully shuffled my family around to make sure that we got all of the posed pictures we wanted. We received our pictures a few days after we got back from our honeymoon, a little over two weeks after our wedding, and they were just lovely. Just the right mix of professional quality and a true artistic eye. When I think of the other photographers in New York I was comparing him to when I was making my decision, and the fact that their fees were thousands of dollars more than Cody, I feel like I just got a great bargain for a top-notch talent. He even traveled to the Poconos for our wedding without any problems or without adding additional fees!

After doing quite a bit of research, I was so lucky to have come across Cody Raisig Photography. We met with him, viewed albums and samples of his prints- which were all artistic, high quality and just lovely. Cody gave us a very reasonable price (He didn\'t charge us a travel fee and we were married 1.5 hours north of the city) and he kept in touch through emails/phone calls during the planning process. He must have answered a billion questions for me and he was always quick to reply. Cody is so relaxed and laid back, I think it\'s the upstate in him! On the wedding day, Cody was prompt, prepared and professional. His assistant was kind and they worked well together...and it was one scorching hot day in July! During our bridal portrait shoot, Cody was receptive to our suggestions and he had creative ideas of his own. I felt that Cody put us, the wedding party and guests at ease. During the ceremony/ reception at Dutchess Manor in Beacon, I barely noticed his presence, yet he took such beautiful candids. We were literally still on our honeymoon when Cody posted a slideshow for us to view on facebook. I asked him to make a few minor changes- which he did right away. The slideshow really brought our wedding to life, we were so excited to watch it! Soon after, he posted our gallery and sent us a dvd of all our images. Just about everyone who has seen our pictures has told us that we belong in a magazine! The pictures are gorgeous. We recommended Cody to a couple we know, and after seeing his work, they hired him to do their wedding in March.

Cody is amazingly talented and flexible. I recommend him to everyone. He has a great eye and most importantly, he is comfortable to be around and very cool and approachable. He has a very innovative style and just does beautiful work. He literally lay down in the middle of the street to get a great shot of us from an upwards angle. All my friends commented on what a great guy he was. They knew this because although he was free to go at 10pm, he insisted on coming to the after party with us to hang out for a bit. He was still working even though he didn't have to and got some great shots. He made me a fantastic slideshow which was delivered really quickly, and all the images arrived by mail as promised. I can't say enough about him!

Cody traveled all the way to St. Lucia to be our wedding photographer. Not only did he photograph our wedding day, but he also managed to get hundreds of amazing shots of the events leading up to the big day. He captured so many little moments that I'm very happy we have on film. The slideshow he put together really tells a story and our family and friends that didn't make it to the wedding were able to see the entire day as if they were there. I'm so happy someone recommended Cody to me and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a photographer.

Cody was our photographer for our wedding in November 2009. We couldn't have been more than pleased. There are many stressful decisions to make while planning a wedding. From the beginning, we knew we wanted something unique. The traditional formal wedding never appealed to us and every detail was discussed to coincide with a more relaxed yet elegant feel. Putting it all together was not so relaxing. That being said, finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was easy. We first viewed Cody's photography on the internet and fell in love with his relaxed style and creative eye. His pictures seemed to catch people having fun, but did not seem posed and fake, and the quality was exceptional. We contacted Cody immediately and found him to be extremely flexible . He really listened to our concerns about hiring a person who would take the kind of photos we requested. We wanted someone who was almost invisible and wouldn't interrupt our ceremony and allow us to enjoy our cocktail hour. We had many suggestions. Cody was agile enough to get around quickly and capture many moments someone else may have missed. Cody listened to us and the final outcome was not only creative and amazing, but our pictures were ready for us shortly after we returned from our honeymoon!
