Since we were unable to meet Dan (he lives in NYC), he texted, called AND set up a Skype meeting so we could meet him and get to know him. From the second we talked to him, we felt so relieved that he was our DJ. Dan is the perfect mix of cool and fun - exactly what we wanted in our DJ. (He is not cheesy at all - something we wanted to be sure to stay away from.) Our wedding day was nothing but unforgettable. On what was to be a beautiful fall day in October, turned out to be a wintry blizzard! Dan traveled from NYC to Lancaster, PA, made sure he was there with plenty of time to spare to setup, and once the wedding began, played EXACTLY what we wanted. He played a great mix of oldies and popular, dance songs. I heard from so many people that they never saw SO MANY people on the dance floor as they did at our wedding - and I owe that to Dan. So many people complimented us on what a great DJ we had, and how great the music was! I will recommend him to everyone I know that is having a wedding!! Thank you, Dan!

Dan Sterling is a first-rate DJ and I highly recommend him. He had the crowd dancing constantly for hours with his great music choices (which included songs we wanted, the crowd requested and mostly that he added to the mix) that mixed up the pace and kept everyone on their toes (literally ;)) Dan's personality is so warm and fun. From the wedding party introductions to the cake cutting to working with the catering staff on the timing of everything Dan was a total professional, but in a fun way :) If you want a winning personality, excellent song choice (and timing) and all at a reasonable rate, Dan is your man--he's the best.

My husband and I were very impressed with DJ Dan Sterling. We had been to a couple local events where he was the DJ and we enjoyed his style. He was easy to work with and very professional. I sent him a little sampling of what our tastes in music were, and he had a great sense of what we were looking for in our reception.
